  • RavenOfProphecy's March 10th Big Board!

Just finished working on a new big board. I've been tinkering with it for a while and even though I could probably stand to make some chances I think it gets the point across. If players are ranked in the same general area that means it's up to fit, need etc. - it's extremely hard to compare prospects at different positions. Ended up ranking 128 men, enough for the first four rounds (minus compensatory picks.) I'll probably make some changes and post another closer to the draft once I get to think about the prospects more. Position listed is college position.

[QUOTE=RavenOfProphecy;2549853]Just finished working on a new big board. RAVENOFPROPHECY'S MARCH 10th BIG BOARD!

    1-32

    1. WR A.J. Green, Georgia*

    2. DT Marcell Dareus, Alabama*

    3. CB Patrick Peterson, Louisiana St.*

    4. DE Robert Quinn, North Carolina*

    5. DE Da’Quan Bowers, Clemson*

    6. CB Prince Amukamara, Nebraska - Way too high for my liking after I watched him workout at the combine where Deon Sanders took apart his drills. Call me crazy but I now think he goes 20-32.

    7. WR Julio Jones, Alabama*

    8. DE Cameron Jordan, California -A little too high, I see him more in the 13-17 group. In most years, this ranking would be solid but this is a very special draft and he will fall a bit because of it.
    9. DE J.J. Watt, Wisconsin*

    10. DE Aldon Smith, Missouri*

    11. RB Mark Ingram, Alabama*- Way too high IMO for a RB whose not going to go the distance at the next level. Solid plugger but I think it sends him to the late round 1.

    12. LB Von Miller, Texas A&M - Way to low, top 10 is practically guaranteed.

    13. DT Nick Fairley, Auburn* - Ditto with Miller
    14. DE Ryan Kerrigan, Purdue

    15. OT Tyron Smith, Southern California*- He hasn't worked out but if it's good, could go top 10.

    16. DT Cameron Heyward, Ohio St. - Just my opinion but I see him late round 1.

    17. OT Nate Solder, Colorado

    18. QB Blaine Gabbert, Missouri*- Sorry, but unless his workout is a flop, he's going top 5 in this QB starved league.

    19. OT Anthony Castonzo, Boston College

    20. QB Jake Locker, Washington

    21. LB Akeem Ayers, UCLA*- Might be a little high after his workout at the Combine.

    22. CB Brandon Harris, Miami (FL)* Floyd destroyed him when he played against him vs Notre Dame, now a likely 2nd rounder.

    23. QB Cam Newton, Auburn*- Again, QB starved teams are going to draft him a lot higher.

    24. DT Muhammad Wilkerson, Temple*

    25. OT Gabe Carimi, Wisconsin

    26. DE Adrian Clayborn, Iowa

    27. OT Derek Sherrod, Mississippi St.- I'm getting that feeling that he is a 2nd rounder.

    28. LB Justin Houston, Georgia*- Could be wrong but I see him more as a 4-3 DE at 270lbs but likely playing at 285lbs..

    29. FS Rahim Moore, UCLA*

    30. DT Stephen Paea, Oregon St.

    31. CB Aaron Williams, Texas*

    32. C Mike Pouncey, Florida

    33-64

    33. OT Ben Ijalana, Villanova

    34. WR Torrey Smith, Maryland*

    35. DT Corey Liuget, Illinois* !st rounder for me.

    36. OT Danny Watkins, Baylor

    37. RB Mikel Leshoure, Illinois*

    38. DT Phil Taylor, Baylor

    39. OT Marcus Cannon, Texas Christian

    40. DT Drake Nevis, Louisiana St.

    41. OG Stefen Wisniewski, Penn St.

    42. WR Titus Young, Boise St.

    43. WR Jerrel Jernigan, Troy

    44. RB DeMarco Murray, Oklahoma

    45. DE Christian Ballard, Iowa

    46. CB Jimmy Smith, Colorado

    47. DE Brooks Reed, Arizona

    48. DE Allen Bailey, Miami (FL) - possible 1st rounder according to Mayock so he could go higher.

    49. QB Christian Ponder, Florida St.

    50. OG Rodney Hudson, Florida St.

    51. LB Mason Foster, Washington

    52. DE Sam Acho, Texas

    53. WR Leonard Hankerson, Miami (FL)

    54. LB Martez Wilson, Illinois*

    55. QB Ryan Mallett, Arkansas*-I still think he goes late round 1 unless he flunks his drug test.

    56. RB Jordan Todman, Connecticut*

    57. DE Dontay Moch, Nevada

    58. OT Orlando Franklin, Miami (FL)

    59. WR Greg Little, North Carolina

    60. TE Kyle Rudolph, Notre Dame*- He'll go a lot higher in round 2 after NE's success with an injured TE.

    61. LB Kelvin Sheppard, Louisiana St.- I really see him more as a 3 or
    4th rounder
    62. DE Jabaal Sheard, Pittsburgh

    63. CB Curtis Brown, Texas

    64. OG John Moffitt, Wisconsin

    65-96

    65. WR Randall Cobb, Kentucky*

    66. CB Ras-I Dowling, Virginia

    67. RB Shane Vereen, California*

    68. OT Clint Boling, Georgia

    69. DT Kenrick Ellis, Hampton

    70. OT Jason Pinkston, Pittsburgh

    71. DT Jurrell Casey, Southern California*

    72. WR Tandon Doss, Indiana

    73. LB Chris Carter, Fresno St.

    74. RB Ryan Williams, Virginia Tech*

    75. CB Brandon Burton, Utah

    76. OT James Brewer, Indiana

    77. WR Jon Baldwin, Pittsburgh*I'm not in a position to pass judgment on his character but his talent level suggests round 1 for me.
    78. OT DeMarcus Love, Arkansas

    79. RB Kendall Hunter, Oklahoma St.

    80. WR Niles Paul, Nebraska

    81. LB Bruce Carter, North Carolina

    82. DT Jarvis Jenkins, Clemson

    83. RB Taiwan Jones, Eastern Washington*

    84. WR Edmund Gates, Abilene Christian

    85. FS Quinton Carter, Oklahoma

    86. DT Marvin Austin, North Carolina - After his Combine, likely a high 2nd rounder at worst.

    87. OT Marcus Gilbert, Florida

    88. OT James Carpenter, Alabama

    89. TE D.J. Williams, Arkansas

    90. CB Davon House, New Mexico St.

    91. LB Mark Herzlich, Boston College - I think this guy has lost a lot of his physical abilities after fighting cancer and is now a 5-7th rounder.

    92. WR Cecil Shorts, Mount Union

    93. SS Tyler Sash, Iowa

    94. DT Jerrell Powe, Mississippi

    95. LB Quan Sturdivant, North Carolina

    96. DE Greg Romeus, Pittsburgh

Pretty decent mock but you have to expect some criticism, it's the name of the game.
    And proud of it!!!

Nice work, I would be surprised to see Baldwin fall that far. He is a bit flaky as far as character is concerned but you can't deny his talent. Baldwin is still a bit of a mystery to me but I think some team will become enamored with his talent and take him earlier than expected.
