So interesting to see you have Cam Newton rated so low... any particular reason?
The whole world loves neophyte athletic tight end Jimmy Graham from Miami with the 95th pick. "Best pick in the draft,'' one AFC coach told me. "Give him time, and in that offense, he'll be better than [Jeremy] Shockey by the start of next year.''

“We know that no matter the adversity, be it the lockout, be it the suspension or be it a hurricane, our men will pull together and defend the honor of this city. We’ve shown we’ve been able to do that.” - Jabari Greer

Wow, you really don't perceive this draft to be deep with top RBs, WRs or TEs. Your dropoff after Ingram at RB and Jones at WR really jump out at me.

Locker still over Newton....doesn't look updated to me.

....and LMFAO @ Aldon Smith, Prince Amukamara over Nick Fairley. Is this real life?

I'm waiting for Locker to be ahead of Gabbert so i guess i would agree they need to be upgraded more.

This is what i like about Scout, most guys who do this stuff for a living would just follow the Lemmings off the cliff and not go against the grain. At this point it is probably a fine line between any of the top 3 QBs but i give Scott credit for putting himself out there.

Not sure how Hankerson is rated below Cobb and a few other guys, I'll take a 6'2 reciever that runs a 4.4 over a mini me like Cobb any day. IMO he is the #4 WR out of this group of WRs.

I have some problems with a # of players but that is probably just me.

I see Clayborn as dropping, there is plenty of talk about him as a 2nd rounder now and certainly no better than a late 1st rounder at best. His illness suggests he will only be able to play one side of the field with one side of his body stronger than the other and he has short arms. He doesn't has the quick jerk suddenness to be a real impact player IMO.

Quinn, his brain tumour is a worry and I haven't a clue what the doctors will tell GM's when he works out. I also think he needs a better 40 time to stay in the top 5 even without the medical issues.

I cannot see A.J. Green at #2, comparing him to Johnson is simply wrong. Johnson ran a super 40 time while Green only put up a 4.50 which is solid but not outstanding and to get into the top 5 of this strong draft, you have to be outstanding.

I'm not sold on Prince as a top 10 talent, he looked a little stiff to me at the combine drills, however I can see him being pushed up over his value because after Peterson, he is pretty well it at CB.

Which leads me to Brandon Harris, I'll eat humble pie if this guy goes round 1, his film is not outstanding in anyway and I could see him dropping as far as round 3 although round 2 is more likely.
Floyd, the WR for Notre Dame ate him for breakfast and he is just too way inconsistent for my liking.

Not a Hankerson fan, where is his speed on film during games and he drops balls all over the place. Yes, he had a nice Senior Bowl and Combine but game film is going to kill him.

Franklin I saw in one practice, cannot remember if it was the Senior Bowl or the Combine, the DE's had little problem getting by him, he will be strictly an OG at the next level. Doesn't posses the feet to play OT.

The Herzlich story is sad but I just don't see where he is the same prospect he was before his cancer. IMO, a 5th rounder at best.

One prospect I'd rate higher is Austin, the North Carolina DT. I think he will go high 2nd round at worst and could slip into very late round 1. I know there is character issues but this guy has top 10 talent and reminds me of Darrell Dockett coming out.
                    And proud of it!!!

Many, many reasons. Obviously Newton is raw, but my biggest issue is intangibles.

Working on them this weekend, hope to have them live on the positional rankings pages and the individual player pages by Tuesday or Wednesday at the very latest.

It is a perfect example of each GM having to decide how he views a prospect, some will like Scott, be very suspicious of Newton's intangibles. while another GM may believe that Newton's intangibles are solid.
That's why the draft becomes so interesting.

What issue is that? That he is an obvious winner and leader that was extremely liked by his teammates and coaches? I think this is the biggest judgment error made against Newton by people that really dont know a whole lot about him and subsequently shift the negative media backlash against him onto supposed on-field football 'issues' which blatantly aren't there.

What exact 'intangibles' does Gabbert really have? His collegiate career was horribly average by "top draft pick" standards and he is 0-2 in Bowl games including an absolute beat-down against freaking Navy last year and a loss this year against Iowa in which he flat-out threw the game away (literally).
