It's either Texas or Florida. I give a slight edge to Florida.

        1-Ohio
        2-Florida
        3-Texas

Pretty awesome class in 02. Only 10 first rounders on that whole list, but a LOT of great pros.

Florida had the most 5* talent I believe, and they have the most playmakers in the NFL right now.

I think Hawk and Mangold will be probowlers next year. Hester is the only FLorida guy I see making it next year.

thats correct, but i believe alot of players were missing from the texas class, not sure if these were the standout players from the class, or 4 and 5 star players or what, im trying to think of a few more 02 standouts from texas, but im not sure if these were the highest ranked players going into college, or the highest after or what....

aaron harris-north garland, tx(top 5 LB in state)
michael hawkins-carrollton, tx(#1 DB in texas)
robert timmonsflower mound marcus, tx(#2 WR in texas)
                  Larry Dibbles-Lancaster, tx(top 5 DE)

those are a few i can think of, but thats just off the top of my head, im sure there are more, just not sure which players are being listed because im sure Florida has more also

Edorian McCullough - 5* commited to Texas. Incredible measurables #3 CB according to rivals. Academic problems though but he would have been awesome and joined Huff, Griffin, Griffin, Griffin, Brown, and Ross in that secondary.

If you look at the population of Alabama and the area they have to draw from, I d say that is one hell of a recruiting class. Texas, Florida, and California and even Ohio are much more populated and have more schools to produce kids. I still like the Alabama class.

Sure did! I look at it and I see the likes of Demeco, Ben Grubbs, Jason Allen, Ken Darby, not a bad class.
