  • Lsu = Wr U?

I was thinking about this. Last year they had 2 first round picks in Dwayne Bowe and Craig Davis. This year Early Doucet is sure to go in the first. But LSU has a history of putting out quality WRs in the league. These are just some names that come to mind.

    Early Doucet
    Dwayne Bowe
    Craig Davis
    Bennie Brazzell
    Abram Booty
    Demetrius Byrd
    Michael Clayton
    Wendell Davis
    Skylar Green
    Devery Henderson
    Eddie Kennison
    Eric Martin
    Josh Reed

I just want to know how you guy's feel..

I would like to see more of them produce in the NFL before donning them with that title but that is an interesting observation.

They may have all been drafted, but which ones are really producing?

Yeah, I know what you mean. But it seems that LSU is producing quality receivers with size, good speed and hands. In that department the rich got richer when Terrence Toliver committed. They also goat a boat load of quality receivers in the fold right now.

You can take Demetrius Byrd off the list he is in his first year at LSU and hasn't been drafted.

Keep your eyes on Craig Davis.

Some of those haven't even graduated/been drafted yet. Talk about premature.

Production wise in the NFL, OSU is clearly above LSU when it comes to WR's. Its funny because most WR's wont come to OSU because "we dont throw the ball much", but for some reason they allways send first round talent into the NFL. Just about every WR listed from OSU was a first RD draft pick and most of them were from the last 10 years.

But IMO Miami Florida is the WR U.

Drew Carter for the Panthers is also from OSU and didnt have a bad year considering he almost didnt get drafted etc. But hes one of the fastest WR's in the NFL over 6'4.

There have been others such as Reggie Germany, but they never made names for themselves like the others. Wasnt Jeff Green from OSU? And another guy names Sanders? Dee Miller was in the pros for alittle bit.

                          Michael Irvin
                          Eddie Brown
                          Reggie Wayne
                          Andre Johnson
                          Santana Moss
                          Sinorice Moss
                          Brian Blades
                          Randal Hill
                          Sinorice Moss
                          Roscoe Parrish
                          Lamar Thomas

have all produced or have potential from UM. Also if you include TE's, we also have

                          Jeremy Shockey
                          Kellen Winslow, Jr
                          Bubba Franks
                          Greg Olsen
                          Kevin Everett

They might not be the best, but they should be among the top 10.

i really don't think we can call one place a "position u" but we certaintly can say that certain schools produce more talent than other schools on a consistent basis. and i'm talking about producing in the nfl, not just getting drafted and playing special teams

                            big ups to Sf49ers1121

Eh, Miami's list is nice but only Irvin falls under the hall of famer or future hall of famer category so far. LSU's list is just average, they've had some nice WRs, but none of those guys are even decent pros yet except Kenninson. USC is probably 2nd to OSU in terms of great WR production.
