Is he a free agent now or is he draft eligible?

Kiper had him ranked 5th for DB's at the beginning of the season before he got hurt.

There were plenty of people who thought he was better than Hughes.

Mixon is small but a very good man-to-man cover back. I guess he's a supplemental draft option now?

Supp. Draft, but it's a poor move on his part, IMO.

I wouldn't think so, he should still be able to be a regular draft pick just like everyone else.

if he can play, it will all pay off in the end

                    Um...he didn't really have a choice.

And the NFL may still allow him to be selected in this draft, as the only reason he didn't declare was because he was seeking a sixth season of eligibility.

Yeah, I remember him getting messed up at the beginning of the season.

Does anyone know for sure if he will be allowed in the draft? He isn't an underclassman and has completed his eligibility. I thought anyone who used up their eligibility is available for the draft and only underclassmen had to declare. Can anyone clarify?

he could end up being a steal for a team as he will probably fall because of his injury
