    OBrien: Daniel
    Walker: McFadden
    Biletnikoff: Crabtree
    Butkus: Laurinaitis
    Thorpe: Cason
    Lombardi: C. Long

Are those the only ones that have been announced so far? There's also awards like the Rimington, Moss, Maxwell, etc. that weren't on that list.

I think the Thorpe choices are poor. I could name at least 5 DBs who should be there ahead of those 3.

It will be an absolute shame if Dizon doesnt win the Butkus award
he will lose due to the fact Laurenitas and Conner are better known
if people saw Dizon's productivity and talent he would 100% be the winner

Some of those lists are terrible. And yes, I picked Hart>McFadden out of pure homerism

Completely agree with you there. Also, Mario Manningham has no right to any award this year after the way he's played.

Um, Mario had almost 70 grabs for 1,100 yards and 11 TD

Yeah, but he is a shell of his last year's self. Two poeple in the Big 10 who should be in front of him: Devin Thomas and James Hardy.

But if Michael Crabtree doesn't win this award then I will never have faith in the award process again.

He's still had a freshman throwing him the ball with a 43.5% completion percentage and missed a game and had another game where UM only threw 15 times

I think maybe some people are basing this off of best pro prospect. The award goes by a numbers standpoint basically, that's why Steltz and Silva are on the Thorpe list.

Try playing a team with more than 6 wins and then ask for respect. =D

KU has played at least 3 teams with 6 or more wins this year next argument

Texas A&M, Oklahoma State and Central Michigan.

                              All six wins. Barely bowl-eligible.
