  • Who are the top freshmen in the country?

I don't follow individual players too much so I don't know much about the top freshmen in the country. The only two I know about are Michael Crabtree and Jeremy Maclin.

    Michael Crabtree-
    125 receptions, 1,861 yards, 21 touchdowns

    Jeremy Maclin-
    59 receptions, 885 yards, 9 touchdowns
    38 rushes, 287 yards, 4 touchdowns
    2,201 all purpose yards

Who are some of the other top freshmen in the country?

I forgot about Bradford. I guess I didn't realize he was a freshman.

Ryan Mallett has the best arm, probably the worst accuracy and Donovan Warren is really good for a frosh CB

Good list, btu Cameron Heyward played better than Everson Griffen did at USC. He needs to be on the list somewhere.

Heyward has done pretty well and looked good against Michigan, but when he gets 3.5 sacks in one game let me know.

I've been impressed with LB Brian Smith on Notre Dame.

He may not be one of the best freshman in the country, because he just started starting a few games ago. But LB Rennie Curran is playing as good as anyone on Georgia's team right now. He had 13 tackles (12 solo) agianst kentucky. He was also the guy that stoped the reverse on 4th and 2 agianst UF.

Hasn't he also dabbled at safety?
