  • Best position GROUPS of All-Time

Basically discuss and possibly vote for the best group from what year and college is best at the position. Example: '06 LSU WRs, '01 Georgia D-Line, '95 Nebraska backfield.

I'm not sure how to group the QBs, but everything else should work.

    Quarterback Group

    Backfield Group

    Receiving Group

    Tight End Group

    O-Line Group

    D-Line Group

    Linebacker Group

    Defensive Backfield Group

qb usc in palmers last year with leinart and cassel also around, to sick for words

& off course the 4 horseman for offensive backfield

    Saints 2014 draft wish list:
    - No pass rusher till the fourth round (or preferably at all)
    - Corner or Wideout in the first
    - No reaching
    - No Kelvin Benjamin

LSU WR's gotta be up there when they had Bowe, Davis, and Doucet. You could basically just throw it up there and ONE of them was gonna get it

Tennessee in the 90s when they had Peyton Manning and Tee Martin at QB. Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry, Travis Stephens and Shawn Bryson at the same time at RB. That's not half bad.

'95 Nebraska was the sickest backfield. Tommy Frazier, Lawrence Phillips, and Ahman Green.

I like 2005 USC. I don't know if they were the best as far as NFL players but in college they dominated.

LT Sam Baker, LG Fred Matua, C Ryan Kalil, RG Deuce Lutui, RT Winston Justice

That NC State DL of Mario Williams, Manny Lawson, John McCargo, and Tank Tyler was pretty scary.

Miami's RB and TE group in what, 01?

RBs: Najeh Davenport, McGahee, Portis, Gore

and Winslow and Shockey at TE

Looking back, that group as a whole and the success they've had in the NFL is crazy. But the thing is McGahee and Gore only played a limited role in the offense and weren't that invloved.

As far as TE's, you're not going to top Winslow and Shockey.

Texas had a lot of talent across the board their NC year with VY. Mike Huff, Michael Griffin, Aaron Ross, Cedric Griffin, and Tarrell Brown was quite the secondary.

Haynesworth+Henderson as DTs for UT must have been hell to run against.
