And that is why I made reference to him not getting the chance to showcase any of those potential talents. That's why Locker has the edge.

Same here. Coming into this season word was that Meyer was going to open up the passing game a bit but it looks like the same old Florida offense to me. In the Tennessee game Tebow looked like he was trying to prove some point with the ball in his hands and i wonder how many plays were called where he had the option to go down the field but didnt.

2 National Championships, 1 Heisman, and POSSIBLY another of both, and some of the most gaudy statistics in college football history (keep in mind he's about to break Herschel's SEC TD record ;)) quiet them down.

Herschel, Bo, Barry, Fraiser, Baugh weren't linebackers with throwing arms.

Tebow is probably one of the greatest college football players of all-time. But he's not much of a prospect. However, don't be surprised if he ends up being a terrific pro. I hate him, but if he has anything it's a drive to be the best, so maybe he can fix his technical problems and become a great NFL QB. I wouldn't bank on it, but it's something to consider.

If only Barry had played more than one year.

Easily the greatest season ever by a collegiate player at any position, including Jesus Jr.

2628 rushing yards, 3249 total yards, 37 rushing TDs, 39 total TDs, 5 consecutive 200 yard games, 2 TDs in 11 consecutive games, 9 games with 3 or more TDs, and 234 points...all records. That also doesn't include the 222 yards and 5 TDs from the bowl game in which he only played 3 quarters.

As for the original question, Locker is easily a better pro prospect at this point and it isn't even debatable.

the numbers don't lie. neither do the heismans and championships.

Yeah he does have some gaudy numbers. And I credit his first title to Leak and the team around him more then just all Tebow. Last time I checked it was one Heisman and I highly doubt it will be two. And I'll sig bet it with somebody if they want. I don't even see Tebow as the best quarterback in the past 10 years or so. I just do as one of the best athletes. But we are all entitled to our own opinion.

Yeah, how can Tebow be credited with that first national championship? He only touched the ball 8-10 times per game that season. Tommie Frazier won two national championships as a starter and was a missed field goal away from having three of them. Tebow's been a great college player, but he doesn't stand alone over everyone else.
