QBs get mad love at Heisman trophy ceremonies.

You can talk about who you think personally deserves it, or who actually has the best shot to win it.

Was there a more outstanding player in the country than Adrian Peterson in 2004? Yet Matt Leinart won it in a cakewalk.
Not saying Leinart didn't deserve it, just don't be surprised if Colt brings it home to Austin.

I could probably argue that Colt McCoy isn't even one of the top five "most outstanding players" on his own football team. Well maybe that was extreme but if you go by the definition of the award, Shipley and Earl Thomas are the more deserving candidates on the Longhorns.

I can't think of any offensive lineman that you could make an argument for as being one of the top ten players in the country, much less top five. That said, someone could be slipping my mind.

You actually got me really intrigued. I got someone in mind but I think it might be too much of a stretch. Can you at least give us a hint.

... but we all know Suh won't win it and probably isn't even getting invited, so Ingram

Not saying it won't be a stretch, but think he deserves a vote.

I still put him #1 on my ballot regardless.

I say tomorrow. That way the actual Heisman results won't influence anyone's vote.
