    No Florida option? Or LSU?

You're clearly biased against the SEC, sir. :p

USC had 2 NCs, played in one they lost, and won at least a share of the Pac Ten every year between 2002 and 2008. Went 6-1 in BCS bowls. Went undefeated once.

Florida won 2 BCS titles in the conference that was the most competitive this decade. Not as dominant as USC since they were kinda mediocre under Zook before Urban Meyer took them to the top. Won 3 conference titles and 3 BCS Bowls, lost one BCS bowl and is playing in it's 5th this year. Have never ever gone unbeaten. Not as good as USC's decade.

LSU won 2 NCs, but lost 2 games in 2007 and 1 in 2003 when they split the title with USC. Won 3 conference Titles and 4 BCS Bowls. Not as good as USC's decade.

Texas won 2 conference titles. Played in 3 BCS games and about to play in its 4th. Is 3-0 in the BCS. 1 national title so far. Gone undefeated in 2005 and so far in 2009. Not as good as USC's decade.

Oklahoma won 6 conference championships, 7 BCS games where they were 2-5, including 1 NC and 3 NC losses. Better than Texas so far, but not as good as USC. Similar to this team:

Ohio State has won 6 big ten titles and played in 6 BCS Bowls, with their 7th coming up against Oregon. Has gone 3-3 in BCS Bowls so far and has 1 NC, with 2 NC losses.

          I'd rank 'em:

          1-USC (2 NCs, 6 BCS wins)
          2-Florida (2 NCs, 3 or 4 BCS wins)
          3-LSU (2 NCs, 4 BCS wins)
          4-OSU (1 NC, 3 or 4 BCS wins)
          5-Oklahoma (1 NC, 2 BCS wins)
          6-Texas (1 or 2 NCs, 3 or 4 BCS wins)

all very close though. I think 2-6 are all interchangeable b/c LSU and Florida didn't win as many games as OSU, Texas, and Oklahoma despite winning more NCs and BCS games. If texas beats Bama they move up.

            1. USC
            2. Florida
            3. Texas (I'd swap them with UF if they beat Bama)
            4. Ohio State
            5. Oklahoma

I'll take Ohio State and our recent dominance in the BCS games. How can any other school even begin to compete with that?

But really, I like Keylimes list. I think it's easily USC with the dominance they've displayed in the Pac-10 and their success in big games.

Florida would have easily had it if they were in the national title this year.
