I mean he isn't the most conditioned player as I saw in the UNC game.. and second year man Jheranie Boyd had 6 receptions for a ridiculous 221 yards. Joshua Adams the big man also late in the game was playing physical with Peterson and took advantage of him. Don't get me wrong, he is probably a top 10 pick for sure but he has his flaws (very little). He is dynamic in the return game as well but LSU could still put up 8 wins without him. Andrew Luck means everything to Stanford as does a dark horse in LaMichael James.

If not for Peterson, your UNC Tar Heels win that game. The Mountaineers would have also beaten LSU if not for Peterson. That's 2 of their 4 games.

Nope, that was not sarcasm. The odds that that pic could be taken at that precise angle and pose are astronomical, Im sure. Im not saying its a premonition buts itd be cool if he won it.

I dont really have a favorite college team btw.
        I want a sig.

Ohio State played one school that is worse than most of the top FCS schools and the other three schools have a combined 4-7 record with three of those wins coming against Ohio, Florida A&M, and Wofford.
Rawr. Defensive UM fans are cute. Denard has a chance if UM goes over .500 in the Big11 this year. That's gonna tough for RichRod to handle.

Also, the Heisman is a joke.

You would probably need some offensive stats to win it for a DB besides kick returns. As of now the guy from Michigan is lock city but Patrick should be in New York for the award.

Ironically a DB could allow no catches and therefore not be on any stat sheets and would not get any consideration for the award.

If Denard wasn't playing out of mind this year, I'd vote for Peterson.

Yeah, it's dumb. Or a DL could get double and triple teamed and not get many sacks, TFLs, etc...

It's a stupid populist award. It's almost always been awarded to the best offensive skill position player on one of the best teams. There are few exceptions. Maybe 10%. Woodson deserved it, and it's surprising he got it. Man I still hate that guy...

Few things of interest for me:

Anyone have the thrown at stats for Woodson and Peterson?

Comparing Suh's 4th last year lends no comparison to Peterson this year based on quality of class. Robinson's worst game will most likely be vs tOSU which will take him out of contention. Mallett will fall out. Pryor could do something going undefeated and have a great michigan game, although we all know how bad michigan's defense is. That leaves Moore, Ingram, and Luck basically infront of him. If Luck loses to Oregon and someone else he would be out. No one cares about Moore. And Ingram has some catching up to do.

The thing that will separate Peterson and Woodson is that Michigan went 12-0 that year, Woodson made the most amazing interception ever, and had an amazing last game vs tOSU. LSU will likely not go undefeated, and early year interceptions/returns quickly get forgotten. His only chance would be if LSU made it to the SEC championship game and he gave some kind of highlight performance

PP will do what Suh didn't: win the Heisman.

Heisman voting is stupid. Who should have won it last year? Yes Ingram was good but Suh just took over the Big12 Championship game and if we would have won they would have given it to him. PP is good but most likely Luck will win.

You think Stanford goes to the NC?

If it is OSU/Bama, I think Pryor wins. If Boise goes, Moore is a contender too.

Everyone knows the Heisman trophy means, MVP of the team that goes or win the NC game.

Right now I would give it to Kellen Moore. He already has his signature drive of the year against VT and he played well in beating Oregon State. Assuming they run the table he's got a chance.

If Peterson keeps it up this year then he has a chance but he's gotta do it against at least three of Florida, Bama, Auburn and Arkansas the rest of the year. That's a big ask.

If Stanford beat Oregon tomorrow then Luck goes above Moore in my opinion.

Edit: PP really needs a true signature game where he absolutely dominates a big time opponent. Suh had 4 sacks in the big XII Championship game last year and still couldn't win it. It's an uphill task for any defensive player
