Besides the heisman i think Pryor is on the Vince Young track to the NFL. He finds a way to win, can use his legs to extend a drive and throws just enough to get by.

    • It's really not that complicated.

LSU or Auburn are in if they run the table. They won't, but it doesn't matter what else happens, the SEC is still the SEC.

Oregon, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Nebraska. Probably in that order, if any of them runs the table.

A 1 loss Alabama would probably still get in over Boise/TCU, but I'm not as confident in that.

So they need six losses, basically. Which isn't that out of the question, and it also makes games like Alabama-South Carolina a hell of a lot more interesting.

Oregon, Oklahoma, & Boise St the Collge FB Boutique Team all have a shot.
I'm not sure if Nebraska can throw the ball enough but i think they have the best defense in the country.

I know what you do when the Tide wins, are you and Mary Jane getting together this evening?

Considering the 2010 Rose Bowl has no bearing on this year, it's not that crazy.

            • boise can also be helped by nevada staying undefeated untill they play them.

              Saints 2014 draft wish list:
              - No pass rusher till the fourth round (or preferably at all)
              - Corner or Wideout in the first
              - No reaching
              - No Kelvin Benjamin

You've made a lot of stupid comments in this thread. Check the arrogance at the door.

They don't have to "jump" Ohio State. Both would already be ahead of them in the BCS polls today.

The computers don't care about margin of victory, and they certainly don't care who won the Rose Bowl last year.

                    Naive.

What is the question everyone will ask themselves and others when it gets down to choosing who gets the last spot in the BCS title game... who would win in a match up between Ohio State and Oregon?

Well, Ohio State just dismantled Oregon in the Rose Bowl... it's probably them, so they should go to the National Title.

I agree that Ohio State has the best position, but that is completely irrelevant.

Ohio State already holds the number 2, soon to be number 1, spot. If they win out they're in. Winning out would mean they beat Michigan, Iowa, and Wisconsin so there can't be much complaining about the schedule. #1 is Ohio State's to lose now.

                          The polls direct the computers.

Ohio State is going to be #1 in the polls. Therefore, they will be #1 in the computers.

So, yes, they will have to jump Ohio State. That's not arrogance. That's reality.

                            check and mate.

Arguing who should be ahead in the human polls is one thing but none of this style points matter in the BCS.

Seriously, can OSU fans please stop using the "OMGZZZZ we beat them in the Rose Bowl" argument as to why OSU is better.

First, it has no relevance to this season. Absolutely none.

Second, let's not act like the 2 best teams are ranked 1 and 2 at the end of the year always. It's the 2 teams that have the best seasons, and even then that's iffy. Just because people say Oregon will jump OSU, or anything else in the polls doesn't automatically mean they think they're better or would win head to head. It means they either A. played a more impressive schedule and/or B. will be loved by pollsters.

Please, for the love of god OSU fans, stop bringing up the Rose Bowl when talking about rankings.
