True, Nebraska has a shot. Lots of teams have a shot now -- SCAR s/b there except for the Auburn loss. And Auburn has the best shot but their path still runs thru Tuscaloosa & Saban has beaten them in the past like tied up billygoats.
Oregon, Oklahoma, & Boise St the Collge FB Boutique Team all have a shot.
I'm not sure if Nebraska can throw the ball enough but i think they have the best defense in the country.
I know what you do when the Tide wins, are you and Mary Jane getting together this evening?
So Oregon, who Ohio State beat this calendar year, and Oklahoma, who has looked pretty ****** are going to jump Ohio State? Ha
I agree that Ohio State has the best position, but that is completely irrelevant.
Ohio State already holds the number 2, soon to be number 1, spot. If they win out they're in. Winning out would mean they beat Michigan, Iowa, and Wisconsin so there can't be much complaining about the schedule. #1 is Ohio State's to lose now.
Considering the 2010 Rose Bowl has no bearing on this year, it's not that crazy.
Seriously, can OSU fans please stop using the "OMGZZZZ we beat them in the Rose Bowl" argument as to why OSU is better.
First, it has no relevance to this season. Absolutely none.
Second, let's not act like the 2 best teams are ranked 1 and 2 at the end of the year always. It's the 2 teams that have the best seasons, and even then that's iffy. Just because people say Oregon will jump OSU, or anything else in the polls doesn't automatically mean they think they're better or would win head to head. It means they either A. played a more impressive schedule and/or B. will be loved by pollsters.
Please, for the love of god OSU fans, stop bringing up the Rose Bowl when talking about rankings.
