If you've been betting against the SEC in these national title games, obviously you haven't been liking the outcome... I don't see this one being any different.

          I'll take Auburn in a 45-31 shootout.

          Oh..and the over ;^)

Serious talk now, I'm going Auburn. I may hate the SEC but I really don't feel Oregon winning the title. However, if they win I won't be mad.

My guess is 37-28 for the Tigers.

I pretty much agree, but will be rooting for us both to be wrong.

I don't understand how this line is only 3.

I'm thinking of taking it before it goes any higher...

I don't see how Oregon stops the Auburn rushing attack to force a punt more than twice.

Whereas I can see Auburn stifling the spread running game of Oregon and forcing Thomas into 2nd and 3rd and longs... their secondary is weak, but they are bound to make some plays by getting after him...?

How have SEC teams fared against speed-based spread teams in past bowl games?

SEC is 6-1 in the last 4 years in games I looked up vs. opposing spread/pass heavy offenses.

So... we should play before it goes up to 3.5 or 4 is what you're saying?

Same here. I want Oregon to stomp them, but I'm having a hard time seeing it.

If you've been betting against the SEC in this year's bowl games, you are probably loving the outcome. I don't think it's going to be much different in the NC game.

All honestly though, the NC game is the only one I'm interested in. The matchups is some of the games have been pretty awful.

With Lamichael James they haven't had to be a passing team, averaging > 50 points/game.

But here a recent stat on Auburn's pass defense the Ducks cannot ignore: Julio Jones got 199 yds vs Auburn, & Alshon Jeffrey got 194 the next game.

Cam Newton looks very confident coming off the Auburn plane. Looks almost identical to how Donovan McNabb looked like before the game against the Cowboys last year.
