I think we'll finish second behind Michigan. OSU will be third. I can't see Ohio State jumping either team. That should get us a BCS bowl that we should have had last year.

Either Tyler Donovan or Kansas State transfer Allan Evridge. Both looked fairly good at today's Spring Game. Donovan started in place of Stocco against Buffalo and Iowa last year and played very well.

Whoever wins I am fine with. I honestly do not see a drop of at the QB position. If anything they'll be better than Stocco.

            I have high hopes
            QB: Donovan has great potential
RB: Clay, Hill, and Lance Smith could all contribute
FB: After sitting out with injuries Chris Presley will be back
OL: lose Thomas.. should be intriguing battle between Jake Bscherer and Gabe Carimi
            DL: pretty experienced crew
LB: Jon Casillas will lead the talented group.. watch out for Elijah Hodge
DB: Ikegounwou has great talent.. not sure about rest of the crew

            hopin' for the best though

sig by me.. first in ages, pm with requests

On top of that we have a great group of WR's and TE's coming back.

                  defintely TE- Beckum is amazing

but WR could be shaky, Hubbard is inconsistent and Swan is alright but not spectacular

Hubbard got better as the year went on, and he went through the spring game yesterday without a dropped catch. I think we'll see a better Hubbard in 07/08.

Swan is a very solid option as third receiver, which he is when you take into account that Beckum is our first option. 35 catches for 595 yards and 5 touchdowns. I'll gladly take that out of my third receiving option. Especially on a run-oriented team like the Badgers. I'd say it's quite easily arguable that Swan was better this past season than Hubbard.

I'm interested to see who steps up at WR behind Hubbard and Swan. Moore got burn at the spring game yesterday, while Isaac Anderson didn't get much PT despite receiving praise from Bret throughout spring practice.

Really can't forget the possibility of MRE, either.

I'm really on edge about the Wisconsin offense. Not necessarily worried about them struggling, they can pound the ball on the ground the entire game if they wanted to, but if they are in a situation where they are forced to pass to get back in or win a game, I'm not sold on them. I love Donovan and think he will provide more on offense than Stocco in terms of playmaking ability, but I'm not sold on the WR's that he's gonna have to work with if a big play is needed. They are solid but I think there could be games when the opposing teams can simply shut down the pass game and hopefully the run game can be enough.

in the capital one bowl pj hill was absolutely shut down. if stocco and his senior leadership had not been present no one would be saying they would win the big ten or national championship because they would have lost to arkansas and all people would be saying is how great the SEC is. Stocco is gone and you guys have to replace him. this doesn't really mean anything though because Ohio State is in an even bigger predicament at QB and i still have high hopes for the year so who knows.

they should be one of the top teams preseason overall with the way hill and donovan played, even without joe thomas our run game will be effective and the badgers will bring home a big 10 championship in bilemas second year...
