***Recruiting Forum Rules - READ BEFORE POSTING***

The recruiting forum has gotten out of hand and we need to fix this right now. I admit that I myself may have slipped up in the past, but not anymore. The recruiting forum is not exempt from the rules for the rest of the forums. This is not a new rule, just a clarification of an existing one.

Links:

No factual information can be posted without a link to the source of that information. This means any time a player commits to a school, names a leader, drops a school from his list, etc. you must provide a link with your post. If you do not have a valid link supporting your information then keep it to yourself. Obviously, you don't need to link to your own personal opinions. Just make it clear that they are your opinions.

Acceptable Sources:

Most online newspapers and websites are acceptable. No premium information (info that you pay for) is to be posted. The only exception to that rule is if the information you are posting is in the header of a premium article, which is free for all to read. If the information is hidden behind the words "click here to subscribe," then don't even bother. Websites such as Buckeye Planet, IrishEvy, and MGoBlog are acceptable. However, only information from the articles/interviews/blog posts from these sites are permissible. Any information obtain on one of these sites' message boards should be assumed to be unreliable (even if you yourself trust it). Anything posted on Facebook is private information and should be treated that way.

Disciplinary Action:

Since this is a fresh reminder, everyone gets one freebie. The first time you break this rule, you will have your post deleted and that is it. If you break it a second time, your post will be deleted and you will get a warning. If you ignore the warning and break it a third time, you will receive an infraction.

Remember, these are Scott Wright's rules not mine. We want everyone to still have fun, but we can't keep ignoring the rules of the website.

  • Brice Butler/Michael Floyd Youtube Video

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOGgtGNqFVE

Short vid compares USC Commit Brice Butler to ND commit Michael Floyd.

After watching this, it seems not only that Butler is a considerably better prospect than Floyd, but that Floyd is SLOW AS HELL.

P.S. The video says Butler runs a 4.37, which I don't necessarily think is true, but he's definitely fast enough and has good enough hands to start at USC by at least his sophomore year.

Devier Posey > either of them.

Although I really like Butler. Floyd reminds me of Mike Williams a bit. He has those long loping strides, but has great size.

Everybody that is 6'4 is compared to Mike Wililams nowadays. But the truth is, Williams was a special breed of physical. He would absolutely run cornerbacks over.

USC has a 6'4 230 WR in David Ausberry. He too was being compared to Mike Williams in the summer workouts. But he really can't break tackles and box out defenders like Williams could. Most 6'4 230 receivers can't either. The jury is definitely still out on Floyd.

He's listed as an athlete. Will he be a wideout in college?

                  I could be wrong, but I think he's around a 4.55

                    Floyd>Butler

Floyd is bigger, stronger, better vertical, better hands, better blocker, better at breaking tackles, ect.

Wow shockingly Axl picks the ND commit over the SC commit... FWIW, I like Floyd a lot, he just needs some wheels.

By the way Axl, was it you that said Duval Kamara would be a better WR than Arrelious Benn?

Even if Floyd wasn't going to ND I would have picked him, I've been following his career since he was a sophomore and like what he has to offer. If I thought Butler was better or someone said a certain recruit was better then a ND recruit and I agreed I wouldn't even respond.

Yes, I said I think Kamara will end up being a better WR then Benn. It was after a Illinois fan here said Benn was the best freshmen receiver in the nation even before the season started. I still believe it.

But would your opinion be the same if Butler wasn't going to SC? And Benn is the best True Freshman receiver in the country.

yeah, im pretty sure he's going to play wideout. I know he plays on D too down at servite but I think wideout is his natural position.

If pete wanted to he could use him as a multi-purpose but that's not pete's style and joe's got that down.

if anyone knows more about him you can correct me if I'm wrong.
