***Recruiting Forum Rules - READ BEFORE POSTING***

The recruiting forum has gotten out of hand and we need to fix this right now. I admit that I myself may have slipped up in the past, but not anymore. The recruiting forum is not exempt from the rules for the rest of the forums. This is not a new rule, just a clarification of an existing one.

Links:

No factual information can be posted without a link to the source of that information. This means any time a player commits to a school, names a leader, drops a school from his list, etc. you must provide a link with your post. If you do not have a valid link supporting your information then keep it to yourself. Obviously, you don't need to link to your own personal opinions. Just make it clear that they are your opinions.

Acceptable Sources:

Most online newspapers and websites are acceptable. No premium information (info that you pay for) is to be posted. The only exception to that rule is if the information you are posting is in the header of a premium article, which is free for all to read. If the information is hidden behind the words "click here to subscribe," then don't even bother. Websites such as Buckeye Planet, IrishEvy, and MGoBlog are acceptable. However, only information from the articles/interviews/blog posts from these sites are permissible. Any information obtain on one of these sites' message boards should be assumed to be unreliable (even if you yourself trust it). Anything posted on Facebook is private information and should be treated that way.

Disciplinary Action:

Since this is a fresh reminder, everyone gets one freebie. The first time you break this rule, you will have your post deleted and that is it. If you break it a second time, your post will be deleted and you will get a warning. If you ignore the warning and break it a third time, you will receive an infraction.

Remember, these are Scott Wright's rules not mine. We want everyone to still have fun, but we can't keep ignoring the rules of the website.

  • Mike Adams looked pretty good today. Its always fun to see how these kids play against other talented big guys.

I would like to see Pryor come to Columbus. He is very talented and I think Tressel would use him a little bit next year. He is to talented not to get PT, maybe in a Tebow type situation.

Thanks to Bosanac01 for the sig.

yeah, about 14 Domers and 8 Buckeyes (if Pryor and Jenkins come, then 10).

Hard for a freshman to come in and start anywhere, even Vince didnt start as a freshman, he's going to OSU anyway, right?
By the way where was Stonebruner today?

        • Stoney was playing tight end which is a little out of position for him, he's more suited at slot receiver. He played behind Rudolph and Baldwin, so he didn't see the field as much as he should've, and I didn't see him get thrown to. A lot of good guys in this game didn't get that many snaps and plenty of players who I'm sure will be future studs don't always put up big stats in this game.

Well, Vince was a little more raw as a true freshman, and Mack Brown didnt necessarily run a shotgun spread offense until Vince was the guy at QB. Rodriguez prefers his read option now, and if he had Mallet then he'd only have one dimension at QB from a guy who is only a year more experienced than Pryor, and Pryor is a much better option for his offense (pun not intended). Even if he wouldn't start, Pryor has said that Mallett's decision is not gonna effect his own. Terrelle said his biggest factor is gonna be comfort level, and for OSU that is the main thing we have going for us right now with him, he is very down with the staff, players, and has great friendships with some of our recruits. Heck, him and Brew are like family. (i saw a funny quote on theOZone about "brewster is thicker than blood" regarding the Toney Clemons deal.)

Sorry to point out the obvious, but this is the same Michigan that started Chad Henne, another #1 QB prospect, as a true freshman. It is hard for any true freshman to start anywhere, period, though.

Not unless you are ND, which is the only big draw there. And we all see how that works out.

But they were supposed to win 10 games. That's what Lou Holtz said, right?

                  • Looks like UGA is in good shape for any fake FG's in the future. Walsh showed some good speed for a kicker

Tightends are pretty much nonexistant in these games with the defenses they play. Rudolph is going to be really good at ND. Keep me informed about everything Buckeye if you would.
