***Recruiting Forum Rules - READ BEFORE POSTING***

The recruiting forum has gotten out of hand and we need to fix this right now. I admit that I myself may have slipped up in the past, but not anymore. The recruiting forum is not exempt from the rules for the rest of the forums. This is not a new rule, just a clarification of an existing one.

Links:

No factual information can be posted without a link to the source of that information. This means any time a player commits to a school, names a leader, drops a school from his list, etc. you must provide a link with your post. If you do not have a valid link supporting your information then keep it to yourself. Obviously, you don't need to link to your own personal opinions. Just make it clear that they are your opinions.

Acceptable Sources:

Most online newspapers and websites are acceptable. No premium information (info that you pay for) is to be posted. The only exception to that rule is if the information you are posting is in the header of a premium article, which is free for all to read. If the information is hidden behind the words "click here to subscribe," then don't even bother. Websites such as Buckeye Planet, IrishEvy, and MGoBlog are acceptable. However, only information from the articles/interviews/blog posts from these sites are permissible. Any information obtain on one of these sites' message boards should be assumed to be unreliable (even if you yourself trust it). Anything posted on Facebook is private information and should be treated that way.

Disciplinary Action:

Since this is a fresh reminder, everyone gets one freebie. The first time you break this rule, you will have your post deleted and that is it. If you break it a second time, your post will be deleted and you will get a warning. If you ignore the warning and break it a third time, you will receive an infraction.

Remember, these are Scott Wright's rules not mine. We want everyone to still have fun, but we can't keep ignoring the rules of the website.

Yay! Let's do this again! My extremely early prediction (assuming no de-commits).

Call UM's class a class of 23 for now.

    Already committed

    WR- Jeremy Jackson (MI)
    WR- Jerald Robinson (OH)
    OG- Christian Pace (OH)
    Spinner- Ken Wilkins (PA)
    Spinner- Antonio Kinard (OH)
    DE- Jordan Paskorz (PA)

Early picks to fill the class

    DT- Jon Hankins (MI)
    CB- Cullen Christian (PA)
    CB- Tony Grimes (FL)
    S- Rashad Knight (FL)
    S- Kurtis Drummond (IL)

Odds are that I will be completely wrong, but let's see your predicted classes.

      committed

      *JT Moore - DE
      Jamel Turner - DE/OLB
      *Andrew Norwell - OT
      *David Durham - DE
      *Scott McVey - LB
      *Taylor Graham - QB

      uncommitted

      *Drew Basil-K
      *Darryl Baldwin - DL
      *Roderick Smith - RB
      *Chad Hagan - S
      *Christian Bryant - DB
      *Tyrone Williams - WR
      Michael Dennis - OL
      Tyler Brause - TE/H-B
      Jibreel Black - DT
      LaTwan Anderson - DB
      Jordan Hicks - LB
      LaMarcus Joyner-CB
      Bobby Swigert - WR

Just having fun. We probably won't get LaMarcus Joyner, chances aren't that good that we'll offer Swigert, Black, or Anderson. I think those three go somewhere else. Hicks is probably 50/50 texas or ohio state. Brause and Dennis are seriously in contention for OSU offers but aren't sure bets either. Jamel Turner might have his scholarship pulled eventually. I put a * next to the ones I really think we sign. We'll probably take 3 OL, but I only listed 2.

the ones I think we'll sign for sure.

btw Sniper i have heard good things for Michigan about Jibreel Black and Bobby Swigert...though I haven't been closely following them from UM's standpoint.

There was an article in the Free Press which wasn't promising about Black. I did hear Swigert's a decent shot.

I'm having a feeling Ohio State is going to get the short end of the stick with this recruiting class.

I'm having a feeling they'll lose the following:

              Jordan Hicks to Texas
              Lamarcus Joyner to Florida State
Seantrel Henderson to either where ever he ends up
              Christian Green to Florida State

Plenty of room for three or four stars though, right?

Out of all those guys, I would like to see Joyner in scarlet and gray. His confidence and will are unreal. OSU is supposedly the leader for his talent right now.

Geomar, pretty far off the mark . We aren't even recruiting some of those guys on the list and you completely left you a couple of OOS kids that we've pretty much already got in the bag. You must have missed Hurtt's interview yesterday because we said we will not be signing more then 24-25.

                  Here is my projection:

QB- Stephen Morris, Miami Shores (FL) Monsignor Pace (3*)
RB- Darion Hall, Naples (FL) Lely (3*)
RB- Eduardo Clements, Miami (FL) Booker T Washington (4*)
FB- Maurice Hagens, Tampa (FL) Tampa Bay Tech (3*)

WR- Ivan McCartney, Miramar (FL) Miramar (4*)
WR- Allen Hurns, Miami (FL) Carol City (3*)
TE- Alex Smith, Cincinnati (OH) Lakota West (4*)
TE- Clive Walford, Belle Glades (FL) Glades Central (3*)

LB- Tyrone Cornelius, Stone Mountain (GA) Stephenson (3*)
LB- Kevin Nelson, Gainesville (FL) Gainesville (3*)
LB- Javarie Johnson, Washington (DC) Dunbar HS (4*)
CB- Jeremy Davis, Fort Myers (FL) Fort Myers (3*)

S- Lorenzo Waters, Hyattsville (MD) DeMatha (3*)

Will add 1 of these guys if they have a change of heart and decide they want in:
OL- Brandon Linder, Ft Lauderdale (FL) St Thomas Aquinas (4*)
DE-Corey Lemonier, Hialeah (FL) Hialeah (4*)
LB- Jeff Luc, Port Saint Lucie (FL) Treasure Coast (5*)

                  Other Options:

WR- Michael Lee Harris, Miami (FL) Northwestern (4*)

WTF are you talking about? Joyner has been commited to FSU for months. He's openly recruiting players for them and he was the ring leader of their recruiting section during the FSU/UM game last Monday. Joyner has been a Nole for a long, long time already.

Christian Green is a Nole as well. If for some crazy reason he doesn't go there. It will be to UF.

Bolded some names. You look real good for Fashaw, James, Cobbs, and Riley. No reason you can't land them.

Cody Riggs is a UF silent. He's part of the reason they threw Victor Hampton out of their class. No chance there.

Giovanni Bernard is the long shot of long shots IMO. He looks headed to FSU.

Thanks for the input, I'm new to the recruiting game this year so any info is helpful. Also, Bernard and Riggs are supposed to be visiting today so hopefully we can impress them enough to get us back in the mix.

Very slim outside shot with Bernard.

But Riggs is done. He's going to UF barring some huge change on their part. UT isn't gonna be able to pull him.
