***Recruiting Forum Rules - READ BEFORE POSTING***

The recruiting forum has gotten out of hand and we need to fix this right now. I admit that I myself may have slipped up in the past, but not anymore. The recruiting forum is not exempt from the rules for the rest of the forums. This is not a new rule, just a clarification of an existing one.

Links:

No factual information can be posted without a link to the source of that information. This means any time a player commits to a school, names a leader, drops a school from his list, etc. you must provide a link with your post. If you do not have a valid link supporting your information then keep it to yourself. Obviously, you don't need to link to your own personal opinions. Just make it clear that they are your opinions.

Acceptable Sources:

Most online newspapers and websites are acceptable. No premium information (info that you pay for) is to be posted. The only exception to that rule is if the information you are posting is in the header of a premium article, which is free for all to read. If the information is hidden behind the words "click here to subscribe," then don't even bother. Websites such as Buckeye Planet, IrishEvy, and MGoBlog are acceptable. However, only information from the articles/interviews/blog posts from these sites are permissible. Any information obtain on one of these sites' message boards should be assumed to be unreliable (even if you yourself trust it). Anything posted on Facebook is private information and should be treated that way.

Disciplinary Action:

Since this is a fresh reminder, everyone gets one freebie. The first time you break this rule, you will have your post deleted and that is it. If you break it a second time, your post will be deleted and you will get a warning. If you ignore the warning and break it a third time, you will receive an infraction.

Remember, these are Scott Wright's rules not mine. We want everyone to still have fun, but we can't keep ignoring the rules of the website.

    • It will take three years or so before Nebraska starts doing damage.

      • Just to jump into the conversation on Nebraska, assuming Illinois continues to do well, they won't be getting many Illinois kids unless it's one of the guys like Khlacko who is from an place/school that isn't favorable to Illinois. Other than that, I wouldn't expect too much. You're not only going to be competing with the favorite (Again, assuming they continue to be good), you're going against Iowa, Northwestern, Wisconsin and sometimes OSU/ND (Those are the battles you'll be facing on kids like Khlacko). I do think, however, that you will win some of the battles (Like Khlacko) and that Nebraska won't drop off one bit when they enter the B10, on or off the field. They recruit nationally so they'll be fine.

        • Looks like NY DE Ishaq Williams and MD OT Donnovan Smith are PSU silents.

          • And to add to that, if I were Nebraska, I would make Tommy Schutt my number one priority in Illinois for 2012. He looks like his is going to be of those Khlacko types and is really, really good. He and Vincent Valentine are both two top of the line DT's for 2012 in Illinois. But I would prioritize Schutt if I were you guys. Heck, I would make them 1 and 2 because I don't know how serious either are about the Illini. But both are very good with loads and loads of potential. Two definite "four star" DT's and if they aren't, I will lose even more respect for the ratings system.

Based on what? Most every thing I've been reading is Ishaq is leaning to Notre Dame, and that he wont make a decision until mid-December.

From what I understand, he submitted papers to both PSU and ND recently. Also, from what I understand, with ND losing players and games, it seems like PSU has gained the top spot once again. IIRC, he's announcing at the AAAG. A poster on Penn State's Scout board said he's a lock to PSU and he's usually right when he locks someone. Who knows.

Well that sucks. Thanks for the info. Losing Lynch, Burton and not landing Ishaq would be a huge blow to Notre Dame's recruiting efforts.

                    • This is stupid but I looked at the Roster for both big All American Games and Tony Steward is not on any of them. How can the top LB Recruit not be in an All American Game?

                      • Schutt and Valentine both like Iowa quite a bit.

Schutt is Walsh's teammate, and Valentine Coe's.

Nebraska is going to have to adapt to the different style game and stadiums in the Big Ten Mr. Monkey

                        • Tackle, Brandon Shell, commits to SCAR. I never really had any doubts, but I'm really excited. Our line has improved immensely this season and Brandon is obviously going to help the cause even more. Big time get for us.

This is shaping up to be a great O-Line class for us, finally.

Couple this latest committment with fellow 4 stars signees, Damiere Byrd and Shon Carson, last month, and the dominos are falling nicely for us.

I just really wanted Shell and Clowney. One down, baby. haha.

                          Thanks BoneKrusher^

                          • Just to add to that previous post...

Shell, A.J. Cann, Du'Von Millsap, Elliot Williams in the last two years. I like, I like. Finally landing quality O-Lineman.

If only Eric Mack wasnt an ass hole, that line could have been amazing.

Now, if we could only land a TE...the already potent SCAR offense would be unstoppable.

                            Thanks BoneKrusher^

That makes sense, we are having such a great season and all.
