***Recruiting Forum Rules - READ BEFORE POSTING***

The recruiting forum has gotten out of hand and we need to fix this right now. I admit that I myself may have slipped up in the past, but not anymore. The recruiting forum is not exempt from the rules for the rest of the forums. This is not a new rule, just a clarification of an existing one.

Links:

No factual information can be posted without a link to the source of that information. This means any time a player commits to a school, names a leader, drops a school from his list, etc. you must provide a link with your post. If you do not have a valid link supporting your information then keep it to yourself. Obviously, you don't need to link to your own personal opinions. Just make it clear that they are your opinions.

Acceptable Sources:

Most online newspapers and websites are acceptable. No premium information (info that you pay for) is to be posted. The only exception to that rule is if the information you are posting is in the header of a premium article, which is free for all to read. If the information is hidden behind the words "click here to subscribe," then don't even bother. Websites such as Buckeye Planet, IrishEvy, and MGoBlog are acceptable. However, only information from the articles/interviews/blog posts from these sites are permissible. Any information obtain on one of these sites' message boards should be assumed to be unreliable (even if you yourself trust it). Anything posted on Facebook is private information and should be treated that way.

Disciplinary Action:

Since this is a fresh reminder, everyone gets one freebie. The first time you break this rule, you will have your post deleted and that is it. If you break it a second time, your post will be deleted and you will get a warning. If you ignore the warning and break it a third time, you will receive an infraction.

Remember, these are Scott Wright's rules not mine. We want everyone to still have fun, but we can't keep ignoring the rules of the website.

Michigan offers OT/DT Aundrey Walker from Glenville. I'm really not sure what the point of offering was.

fallback option just in case Ohio State burns to the ground.

He still wouldn't go to Michigan. He'd probably go to the East Lansing Penitentiary or Ball State or Toledo or anywhere else. Ted Ginn Sr. should probably get over the fact that Pierre Woods not playing was Pierre Woods' fault, and he should get over the fact that UM didn't offer his son as a DB after he sucked at junior day. Just sayin'.

SC QB Everett Golson is apparently committing today. Looks like UNC. Kid had offers from pretty much everyone.

Yeah....he's really seething over TGinn Jr not getting an offer from Michigan. He totally would've gone there.

Seems like most of his followers would be floored if it wasn't the Heels.

Could be. He's from South Dakota, so to him, Iowa probably seems interesting.

2011 is a banner year for quarterbacks in Ohio.

It's strange, since Ohio rarely produces star caliber quarterbacks in the recruiting rankings. But we already have two prospects at Quarterback who are probably better than any quarterbacks of the last 10 years in Ohio (although Zwick was a very high rated prospect to be fair).

Regardless, Ohio will NEEDS to get Braxton Miller, but even if we don't we can still target Cole Stoudt or Cardale Jones, both of who should be top 20 quarterbacks.

I am surprised Miller hasn't commited to OSU yet.

rumored silent. He says he's gonna take a few visits to look at other schools before deciding on a school. If you think he told the coaches he wants to be a Buckeye and then they told him to look around first like they always do, you probably wouldn't be wrong. Seems that's what Tressel tells all his recruits to do, sometimes they listen sometimes they commit right away. Lots of people out there are convinced he is a total lock.

The question is who is the 2nd best QB in Ohio - Cole Stoudt or Cardale Jones?

Also, after a really awful 2010 national QB crop, 2011 looks like it's really loaded. Could be 4 or 5 QBs who warrant 5 star ratings.
