***Recruiting Forum Rules - READ BEFORE POSTING***

The recruiting forum has gotten out of hand and we need to fix this right now. I admit that I myself may have slipped up in the past, but not anymore. The recruiting forum is not exempt from the rules for the rest of the forums. This is not a new rule, just a clarification of an existing one.

Links:

No factual information can be posted without a link to the source of that information. This means any time a player commits to a school, names a leader, drops a school from his list, etc. you must provide a link with your post. If you do not have a valid link supporting your information then keep it to yourself. Obviously, you don't need to link to your own personal opinions. Just make it clear that they are your opinions.

Acceptable Sources:

Most online newspapers and websites are acceptable. No premium information (info that you pay for) is to be posted. The only exception to that rule is if the information you are posting is in the header of a premium article, which is free for all to read. If the information is hidden behind the words "click here to subscribe," then don't even bother. Websites such as Buckeye Planet, IrishEvy, and MGoBlog are acceptable. However, only information from the articles/interviews/blog posts from these sites are permissible. Any information obtain on one of these sites' message boards should be assumed to be unreliable (even if you yourself trust it). Anything posted on Facebook is private information and should be treated that way.

Disciplinary Action:

Since this is a fresh reminder, everyone gets one freebie. The first time you break this rule, you will have your post deleted and that is it. If you break it a second time, your post will be deleted and you will get a warning. If you ignore the warning and break it a third time, you will receive an infraction.

Remember, these are Scott Wright's rules not mine. We want everyone to still have fun, but we can't keep ignoring the rules of the website.

Meh.. If he can't move to QB, then he might as well just become a Kicker or Punter.

Maybe a corner, but he's white so he's probably too slow.

He needs to do that in a Goal Line play.

I'm from the Cypress area and have seen Mcguffie play alot. Mcguffie looks like a white Reggie Bush. He has tremendous speed and can break tackles.

He looked like he put on about 20+ lbs. from his Jr. season to his Sr. season. When watching him, I thought he might have lost his 5th gear by putting on all the weight, but he had a really good playoff game late in the year running for around 275 yds. He's fine and will fit in really good in Michigan's offense.

Aye, he's quite good. It looks like he has some excellent vision based off watching a bunch of highlight tapes of McGuffie. The main thing he's going to need to learn at the next level is to not out run his blockers. It looked like a few times he opted to just out run his blockers, and while that's fine for high school football - more often than not that won't cut it in college.

If he has good hands, I see him being a great option at RB for the Wolverines.

Texas, I'd definitely agree about the weight, I heard he was up to like 205 right now, but in terms of the speed, I'm pretty sure he had a sprained ankle basically all year and is only now basically fully healthy, so that is probably why he looked slower until the last game.

Rodriquez is going to have fun with him. If he can somehow get Pyror to commit, Michigan's running game will have the potential to be better than what RR had at WV with Slaton and White.

                              Southern Miss Golden Eagles

You know I hate to be the devil's advocate here but I personally think that McGuffie is WAY to overrated. He is praised by so many to be the best thing since sliced bread, it seems to me that he has a running style like that of Adrian Peterson's, that is an upright one, and this type of running style is not very conducive to a long and efficient career. In fact that running style leads to injuries.

From what I have seen of him it also seems that if he doesn't nail that home run hit than he's going to be dropped in the backfield or met at the line as he seems to try and bounce every run to the outside or juke everyone out. This isn't to say that he can't lower his shoulder, but it seems that he tries to always bust the big one.

However these are just my opinions, just like ya'll have yours.
