    1 Jake Long, OT, Michigan
Improvision on the offensive line is critical.
    2 Derrick Harvey, DE, Florida
I'm very high on Harvey. Remember, Carriker was drafted last year to improve the inside, not end.
    3 Darren McFadden, RB, Arkansas
Julius Jones should be testing the free agent market, leaving only Barber who cannot handle the load single-handedly.
    4 Glenn Dorsey, DT, LSU
Again, defensive tackle needs upgrades. John McCargo is looking a bit dissapointing.
    5 Brian Brohm, QB, Louisville
Brohm may not be the best quarterback, but is re-united with his former coach.
    6 Malcolm Kelly, WR, Oklahoma
I'm very high on Kelly, and not because I'm a Sooners fan.
    7 Kenny Phillips, S, Miami
    The secondary is a mess.
    8 Calais Campbell, DE, Miami
A nice fit in their 3-4 defense.
    9 Sam Baker, OT, USC
    Offensive line help is critical.
10 Malcolm Jenkins, CB, Ohio St.
Roderick Hood is their best cover corner right now.
    11 Chris Long, DE, Virginia
An aging position, and no OT is worthy of this pick.
    12 Jonathan Stewart, RB, Oregon
Ahman Green is decent at best, but will not be around for much longer.
    13 Andre Woodson, QB, Kentucky
Huard is not a starter in the league much longer.
    14 Reggie Smith, DB, Oklahoma
    Lacks depth and talent.
15 Justin King, CB, Penn St.
    Secondary depth is needed.
16 James Laurinitis, LB, Ohio St.
Bruschi could be done after this year.
    17 Quentin Groves, DE, Auburn
Groves is the second best pass rusher to Harvey, and is exactly what they need despite being a tad bit undersized.
    18 DeSean Jackson, WR, Cal
Could be a great combo with Burress.
    19 Sedrick Ellis, DT, USC
    A talented DT is needed.
20 Matt Ryan, QB, Boston College
Delhomme is on the downslide of a good career, and Carr is awful.
    21 Early Doucet, WR, LSU
Marshall is talented, as is a healthy Walker, but depth is needed.
    22 Harry Douglas, WR, Louisville
Maybe they go Brennan here, but you can't deny that Grossman/Griese/Orton doesn't exactly have the best targets to throw to.
    23 Limas Sweed, WR, Texas
Young to Sweed once again. I'm surprised I don't see this more.
    24 Franklin Okam, DT, Texas
    Interior is needed.
    25 Lawrence Jackson, DE, USC
    Replacement for Pryce.
26 Dan Connor, LB, Penn St.
Deadly combo with Hawk and Barnett.
    27 Antoine Cason, CB, Arizona
Cromartie isn't being used. Florence and Jammer are decent.
28 Gosder Cherilus, OT, Boston College
Could be losing anywhere from 1-3 starters from the line.
29 Martellus Bennett, TE, Texas A&M
Stevens is out and inconsistent and Pollard is a short fix.
30 Adarius Bowman, WR, Oklahoma St.
Smith needs someone to throw to when he gets back next year.
    31 Aqib Talib, DB, Kansas
Newman and Henry are injury prone and there is no depth behind them.
32 N/A. Lost for cheating with cameras.

I will throw up if we draft Desean Jackson. Horrible pick. Give us Sendrick Ellis at that point. Man, that was such a bad pick, it is hard to fathom...

Safe pick and probably the best pick

          2 Derrick Harvey, DE, Florida
I'm very high on Harvey. Remember, Carriker was drafted last year to improve the inside, not end.
Rarely will you see a one dimensional pass rusher go so early in the draft. DEs who go top 5 usually have a little more balance to their game.

          3 Darren McFadden, RB, Arkansas
Julius Jones should be testing the free agent market, leaving only Barber who cannot handle the load single-handedly.
It certainly makes the Dallas offense unstoppable

          4 Glenn Dorsey, DT, LSU
Again, defensive tackle needs upgrades. John McCargo is looking a bit dissapointing.
Good pick but McCargo isn't our problem

          5 Brian Brohm, QB, Louisville
Brohm may not be the best quarterback, but is re-united with his former coach.
I like this pick because I think after years of struggling with accuracy issues at QB, the WRs need someone who can pinpoint the ball

          6 Malcolm Kelly, WR, Oklahoma
I'm very high on Kelly, and not because I'm a Sooners fan.
          He's my #1 WR too

          7 Kenny Phillips, S, Miami
          The secondary is a mess.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the safety position is the only position they are actually set at with Daniel Bullocks and Roman Harper

          8 Calais Campbell, DE, Miami
A nice fit in their 3-4 defense.
          As a 3-4 DE? Or a OLB? I don't see either. I think he's a pure 4-3 DE.

          9 Sam Baker, OT, USC
          Offensive line help is critical.
Not exactly sure if he's a mauler like the rest of the Raiders line but I can see Kiffin changing the direction of his line

10 Malcolm Jenkins, CB, Ohio St.
Roderick Hood is their best cover corner right now.
he's my #1 CB also. Linebacker is another position of need here

          11 Chris Long, DE, Virginia
An aging position, and no OT is worthy of this pick.
Not sure how he fits in Jim Johnson's scheme where he likes faster pass rushers on the ends

          12 Jonathan Stewart, RB, Oregon
Ahman Green is decent at best, but will not be around for much longer.
Not a great fit for the ZBS. Slaton is a better fit but could be considered a reach

          13 Andre Woodson, QB, Kentucky
Huard is not a starter in the league much longer.
I think the front office wants to see more of Brodie Croyle before they spend a 1st rounder on a QB.

          14 Reggie Smith, DB, Oklahoma
          Lacks depth and talent.
          I like this pick.

15 Justin King, CB, Penn St.
          Secondary depth is needed.
          Not their greatest need.

16 James Laurinitis, LB, Ohio St.
Bruschi could be done after this year.
I like this pick. He seems like a Patriots kind of player to me. Hopefully it works out better than the last MLB from Ohio State they took.

          17 Quentin Groves, DE, Auburn
Groves is the second best pass rusher to Harvey, and is exactly what they need despite being a tad bit undersized.
Fills a HUGE need for the Skins

          18 DeSean Jackson, WR, Cal
Could be a great combo with Burress.
Fills the exact same role as Sinorice Moss

          19 Sedrick Ellis, DT, USC
          A talented DT is needed.
          Can't argue here

20 Matt Ryan, QB, Boston College
Delhomme is on the downslide of a good career, and Carr is awful.
My favorite pick in this draft

          21 Early Doucet, WR, LSU
Marshall is talented, as is a healthy Walker, but depth is needed.
They have depth at WR. They have Stokely and Nate Robinson who has been coming up huge lately.

          22 Harry Douglas, WR, Louisville
Maybe they go Brennan here, but you can't deny that Grossman/Griese/Orton doesn't exactly have the best targets to throw to.
          I like Douglas a lot but I'm thinking he's a reach at 22.

          23 Limas Sweed, WR, Texas
Young to Sweed once again. I'm surprised I don't see this more.
[b]This would make a lot of sense but they really need speed at WR[b]

          24 Franklin Okam, DT, Texas
          Interior is needed.
Seems a little big for the Tampa 2.

          25 Lawrence Jackson, DE, USC
          Replacement for Pryce.
Doesn't really have the size for that 3-4/4-3 combo DE they use in Trevor Pryce

26 Dan Connor, LB, Penn St.
Deadly combo with Hawk and Barnett.
Really not a huge position of need here but it helps out

          27 Antoine Cason, CB, Arizona
Cromartie isn't being used. Florence and Jammer are decent.
They did draft Paul Oliver in the supplemental draft. They really need MLB and WR help.

28 Gosder Cherilus, OT, Boston College
Could be losing anywhere from 1-3 starters from the line.
          Seems like a Steelers OL

29 Martellus Bennett, TE, Texas A&M
Stevens is out and inconsistent and Pollard is a short fix.
I like it but does he provide any blocking skills that they need?

30 Adarius Bowman, WR, Oklahoma St.
Smith needs someone to throw to when he gets back next year.
          Can't argue with this pick

          31 Aqib Talib, DB, Kansas
Newman and Henry are injury prone and there is no depth behind them.
          Good pick here

32 N/A. Lost for cheating with cameras.
MJ, we go way back but this wasn't your best mock draft buddy

            Matt Ryan, QB, Boston College
Delhomme is on the downslide of a good career, and Carr is awful.
Downside? 8 TDs to 1 INT before he got hurt is the downside?

Now if you're talking about age and injuries, I can agree with that.

if u watched the Packers game last night, Poppinga looked like garbage, and the int he had was just luck, if Conner could take his spot, id be more than happy. Id like to see what Desmond Bishop could do at his spot

When has John McCargo looked dissapointing? He is our best DT right now, and he's constantly making stops in the backfield. I love the pick, but I hate the explanation.

Don't like the Groves pick. We already have an 'undersized' LB/DE pass rushing tweener in Andre Carter. I'd rather take Ellis to anchor the line, or trade down.

Don't like the Vikings pick we have enough Young talent at WR that we don't need to take one that high when Kenny Phillips is still on the board.

No possible way Long is the pick for the Birdos. They have other positions where more help is needed. Long is more of a fit on a 3-4 defense anyway, Reggie Smith, Justin King, DeSean Jackson, Dan Connor etc...
