Not in this mock. He's a 3-4 OLB I think and his stock is going to depend a lot on his workouts. I just don't see a spot for him. Harvey and Gholston are ahead of him right now.

Groves could play the 4-3. Granted he would be a smallish pass rush specialist, but it's a passing league and just like the demands on tight ends to block will decrease, the demands on defensive ends to stop the run will go down.

I just don't like Dan Connor fitting in that well on our defense. I just don't see him as fast enough to play a WILL, which is what we truly need. I'd prefer Talib if you have him coming out or Mike Jenkins.

I'm not sold on Groves in 4-3. I don't know if he has the skills necessary to play that position. Even if he did, would he go ahead of Keith Rivers in a 4-3? I just don't see it.

I had a tough time choosing between Rivers and Connor but I think Connor is the better value at that point. A lot will depend on workouts though.

If Rivers is still available, he is our guy. Much more suited for our defense and I just plain like him more. =D

What skills are necessary to play in the 4-3 that he doesn't have? He's been playing in a 4-3 his entire career.

And Rivers is a linebacker, that's apples and oranges.

I'm not saying that Groves HAS to go in the 1st. In my opinion he's a late 1st guy, but I don't think he could only be drafted by 3-4 teams.

WR is a MUCH bigger need than LB IMO. Malcolm Kelly would be perfect there
