  • Cashmoneydrew's Precombine Mock

Would prefer Rivers/Cason for the Pats. McKelvin is more of a man cover guy and we run zone, which Cason excels in, plus I have Cason and McKelvin with really similar grades.

      To clarify the picks...

NE has the 31st pick, which is then skipped. So, NYG have the 32nd pick.

There will be 64 picks by the end of round 2.

Also for the Giants, Connor doesn't fit our scheme and Cason sucks monkey pole.

Not bad. Chris Williams would be a good pick for Houston but I don't think that they'll go O-Line in the 1st now that they have Alex Gibbs. DRC to the Steelers is intereseting but idk if he fits in the D. I don't see the Jags reaching on a DE when they can get a better pass rusher than Jackson in the 2nd. Talib is pretty good value to the Pack but his weakness is man the GB loves to run press coverage. Stilll a pretty good mock.

What kind of LB fits your scheme?

Hmmm, does rivers fit the 3-4?

If the Bills pass on Keith Rivers, I will go berserk.
LB and WR are our top 2 needs. Out of Keith Rivers and Malcolm Kelly, I'd rather go with Keith Rivers.
Then in round 2, I'd want to go with James Hardy.

I like the Chiefs picks, but some would argue that corner would be a better choice for the second round pick.

You won't hear me complain about getting olineman though. :p

Why would the Chargers take Morgan if Reggie Smith is still available?

                        I think He's a better pure safety.

I can understand that but the reason Reggie Smith is such a good pick for the Chargers is his versatility. Right now nickelback is a more immediate need than safety because we are losing Florence and Hart played pretty well last season. The problem with Hart is he already hit 30 so Smith can play nb until eventually taking over for Hart. He also provides depth to every position in a secondary that is currently pretty thin.

I like giants second round pick, but the first one makes me feel like i want to punch a baby. His name is also Dan Connor. In that situation in the first, giants either take Pat Sims or Reggie Smith. Smith makes sense because we need help at corner and safety so either one we could plug him in at.
