Dallas trade both first round picks a third and a 2009 first round pick to the Atlanta Falcons for the 3rd overall selection

    1. Miami Dolphins – Chris Long – DE – Virginia – This Pick for the Dolphins is almost a no brainer, Chris Long offers the Dolphins a huge amount of versatility and that leads to options. On a team with so many holes in the new 3-4 front 7 Chris Long will allow for the Dolphins to put him in a position of glaring need be it DE or OLB.

    2. St. Louis Rams – Glenn Dorsey – DT – L.S.U. – The Dolphins D line last year was not very spectacular and it is not getting any younger, Dorsey could quite easily slot in and be as or more effective than Carriker at DT meaning the Rams could move him back out to DE where he belongs.

    3. Dallas Cowboys (From ATL) – Darren McFadden – RB – Arkansas – After the Atlanta Falcons decided trading away this pick doesn’t mean they wont land a very good NFL ready QB they pulled the trigger with Dallas who get the superstar they long for to work in what could be a very scary duo with Marion Barber.

    4. Oakland Raiders – Sedrick Ellis – DT – U.S.C. – The Raiders fell in love with this guy at the senior bowl and are looking for a pass rushing DT to take Warren Sapps place and Sedrick Ellis is the man to do it.

    5. Kansas City Chiefs – Jake Long – OT – Michigan – This pick is probably the easiest to predict in the draft, the chiefs are in need of OL help and will likely take some in the lower rounds but Jake Long would make a perfect RT in this teams powerful offensive style.

    6. New York Jets – Vernon Gholston – DE – Ohio State – Gholston if picked here will end up as a OLB probably in a similare mould to Shawn Merriman and over time will gain the coverage skills making him into what could be one of the best rush backers in the country.

    7. New England Patriots (From SF) – Leodis McKelvin – CB – Troy - Samuel is probably leaving and their secondary is their weakest spot, so why not take the best corner on the board get him into camp ASAP and get him out on the field to help this porous secondary.

    8. Baltimore Ravens – Matt Ryan – QB – Boston College – No doubt this team needs a QB so why not take one who is probably the 1a. of this NFL QB class and get rid of McNair and Boller because they aren’t helping matters down in Baltimore.

    9. Cincinnati Bengals – Keith Rivers – OLB – U.S.C. – Its no shocker to see the Bengals going defense after such an atrocious season on that side of the ball yet again, its time to move into the front 7 and Kentwan Balmer is less likely to make the big impact that Keith Rivers would for this team, he will go nicely with Ahmad Brooks.

    10. New Orleans Saints – Mike Jenkins – CB – South Florida – Jason David is terrible, and Mike McKenzie cant cover both sides of the field and with there being no Linebacker at this spot left who is good value the BPA for that defense is defiantly Jenkins.

    11. Buffalo Bills – Malcolm Kelly – WR – Oklahoma – All their receivers are below 6ft, Kelly is 6ft 4 and he can catch any kind of pass thrown at him, perfect to help this young up and coming offense take the passing game to the next level.

    12. Denver Broncos – Kentwan Balmer – DT – North Carolina – Sam Adams was a Bust and Marcus Thomas is still raw, Kentwan Balmer offers a Mountain of potential and some people might call this a reach but this team is in need of someone to help plug the middle.

    13. Carolina Panthers – Kenny Phillips – S – Miami – Their defense is lacking a great safety and although Phillips is not elite safety material he could still end up as one of the better safeties in the NFL, a great pick up for this young defense.

    14. Chicago Bears – Ryan Clady – OT – Boise State – Its no secret the bears need help on the offensive line and clady is a young man with a lot of potential so the bears should get him on board and make him the cornerstone of that offensive line for the next 10 years.

    15. Detroit Lions – Jeff Otah – OT – Pittsburgh – George Foster showed the Giants why the Broncos got rid of him and an upgrade could certainly be used here, there isn’t really any players of good value around that could help the lions as much as having Otah on that offensive line would.

    16. Arizona Cardinals – Aqib Talib – CB – Kansas – Rolle is at safety and their corners are pretty poor and there is no depth their, IMO this is a no brainer and should come as no surprise on draft day.

    17. Minnesota Vikings – Derrick Harvey – DE – Florida – The William twins have nobody beside them who is any good, except each other so bringing in an edge rusher would certainly help take the pressure off one of them allowing for them to get even better.

    18. Houston Texans – Reggie Smith – S – Oklahoma – This team is just a few pieces of the puzzle away from really making a run at the playoffs and getting in a safety which they haven’t really had since they joined the league would go a long way to helping this teams future.

    19. Philadelphia Eagles – DeSean Jackson – WR – California – The eagles could really do with a great receiver and McNabb is surely going to find working with Jackson very helpful because not only will teams be worrying about the playmaking of Westbrook, they will also worry about Jacksons playmaking ability.

    20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Phillip Merling – DE – Clemson – Pairing up Gaines Adams with his Former team mate would be fantastic for both of them and it would also be fantastic for the Bucs because they will have two guys who can rush the passer one of which is VERY stout against the run.

    21. Washington Redskins – Calais Campbell – DE – Miami – Campbell IMO has been overlooked and has dropped down boards to the delight of the Redskins who can see the potential for him to become a fantastic all round DE making this defense a lot stronger.

    22. Atlanta Falcons (From DAL) – Brian Brohm – WB – Louisville – He is probably the most NFL ready QB out there and he will fit in well at Atlanta, they get him for very good value and he is only the first of their 2 picks in the first round this year.

    23. Pittsburgh Steelers – Branden Albert – OG – Virginia – He is versatile, athletic, good in space, a total beast and he will help the Steerlers power running game significantly and will be the key cog in that offensive line.

    24. Tennessee Titans – Limas Sweed – WR – Texas – He is a big target, good hands and he is quick. He has played with young before so the familiarity will help both of them quickly connect and become a very good passing duo.

    25. Seattle Seahawks – Jonathan Stewart – RB – Oregon – Alexander is winding down at an alarming rate and Stewart would be very capable of stepping up and taking the load in Seattle and helping drive this team back deep into the playoffs where Mike Holmgram plans to take them.

    26. Jacksonville Jaguars – James Hardy – WR – Indiana – I really like this guy and not just because he is 6ft 7 he has good hands and is a reliable target, he will excel in the red zone and will be a great target for david garrard to haul it to on his bootlegs.

    27. San Diego Chargers – Chris Williams – OT – Vanderbilt – This team needs to strengthen the right side of its line and Chris Williams is very very capable of doing that, he and Marcus McNeil will make a fantastic tackle duo for LT to run behind.

    28. Atlanta Falcons (From DAL) – Rashard Mendenhall – RB – Illinois – Dunn is almost done and Norwood is not a feature back, Mendenhall is extremely talented and will definitely get the fire started back in Atlanta along with Brohm, they can target someone like Sam Baker or Carl Nicks in the early second round and then target a DT in the later second round.

    29. San Francisco 49ers (From IND) – Early Doucet – WR – L.S.U. – Doucet is a very good underrated Receiver who will really help Alex Smith giving him more than just Vernon Davis as a real threat to defenses.

    30. Green Bay Packers – DRC – CB – Tennessee St – No depth behind Woodson and Harris and that isn’t good when both are old and one has a history of injuries. He is also a specimen at 6ft 2 and people say he plays just like his cousin.

    31. New England Patriots – Forfeited

    32. New York Giants – Dan Connor – OLB – Penn State – Kiwi still hasn’t shown he can be the man at OLB and they really don’t have much outside of pierce, Connor is a fantastic LB and will help the Giants retain the title of World Champions.

Talib is no better at CB than Rolle was, just a terrible pick, give us Harvey there

i like the setup, love the pats pick, although hes more of a man to man defender and not zone

Thanks to BoneKrusher for this amazing sig!

                Go Gators/Pats/Celts/Red Sox!

Great looking mock. I don't really like the Chargers pick because Williams doesn't fit the mold of a mauling RT we need. A versatile DB is the biggest need on the team too so I think Cromartie would be a great fit.

                    Connor = poopyface

I'd love for it to work out like that for Atlanta, but I don't see Dallas giving up the house for McFadden when they can get Felix at 22 or even 29...

Tampa Bay prefers quick, penetrating D-Lineman. Merling doesn't fit that mold. Everything else looks good and I like the bars.
