As a 49er fan, I would take Cherilus over Albert.

I am a fan of Devin Thomas but would take either Groves or Pat Sims at that spot.

hmmm interesting...that's the first I've seen the Bears taking Trevor Laws/a DT in round 2...DT is a need, but I don't necessarily see it as a round 2 need...maybe after taking an OT in round 1 would lead to a DT in the 2nd depending on players available, but if we take Mendenhall 1st it's almost guaranteed we will go OL in the 2nd

Horrendous Vikings pick in the first. We have no need for Sweed at all. We already weren't going to go WR in the 1st and I thought the Berrian signing would make sure people stop giving us WR in their mocks. We would go Otah in that situation.

            Very solid Raider draft.

            Oldie but a goodie.

I think 49ers would take Baker or Cherilus over Albert.

Baas and Snyder our Guards and were both taken day 1. We need depth at OT with Jonas (glass) Jennings at RT, though I expect that Baker or Cherilus would beat out Jennings, preferably Baker over Cherilus.

              Good 2nd round pick.

giants mock makes sense as you are an eagles fan... i don't see any possible way we don't address DB in either safety or CB form in round 1 OR 2

With Staley already penciled in as the anchor at LT, I don't see the 49ers taking a guy like Sam Baker who is great in pass protection but probably sub-par in run blocking. To draft someone at RT, I would look for a bigger body like Cherilus who could be a star at the position, more than adequate at pass protection for the right side and an absolute stud in run blocking.

Very good first pick but I don't see us taking a defensive end in round two. Cornerback and Wide Receiver are bigger areas of need.

The Colts are fairly set at LB, only depth is needed there. Avril or Moore would make much better picks.

Give us Carlson over DeCoud and Nicks over Cherilus and it would be an AWESOME phins draft!
