  • Dannyz's 2ND Mock. 2012

DEN- Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford 2011- Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU
Tim Tebow was McDaniel’s plan not Fox’s. Andrew Luck would have gone 1ST Overall in 2011 and he still goes here in 2012. The Bronco’s are not going anywhere unless they have a Future QB and Andrew Luck might be the best one since Peyton Manning.

CAR- Matt Barkley, QB, USC 2011- A.J. Green, WR, Georgia
The Panthers have given up on Clausen even with AJ Green at WR he could not do any better. Barkley reminds me of Matt Stafford, same size not as strong of an arm as Stafford but still a highly rated QB. Carolina should get something going with Barkley and Green.

BUF- Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford 2011- Nick Fairley, DE/DT, Auburn
Playing in the AFC East, the Bills will still be picking high. It will be up to the Bills if they want to keep Fitzpatrick, get a QB in FA or Trade up to Draft one of the QB above.
If they go for a FA QB Protection will be needed, Jonathan Martin will be a great pick as he blocked for Andrew Luck at Stanford.

ARI- Matt Kalil, OT, USC 2011- Da’Quan Bowers, DE, Clemson
The Cardinals have a bad O-Line. I don’t know who will be the QB but whoever it is will need a blind side protector which is what Kalil is.

TEN- Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama 2011- Cam Newton, QB, Auburn
When you have to go against Peyton manning/Reggie Wayne, Matt Schaub/Andre Johnson your Secondary needs to be better than it is now. You can’t have your best Corner always getting into a fight. Dre Kirkpatrick is a big CB who with the right Coaching should be able to match up against Johnson/Wayne.

CIN- Alshon Jeffery, WR, South Carolina 2011- Marcell Dareus, DT, Alabama
I think people will see that Carson Palmer can be good without The TOcho Show. The Bengals still need a Go to WR because all they have now are 2/3’s. Alshon should fit nicely in the AFC North, He is a big Physical WR who can jump and has good Hands.

DAL- Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina 2011- J.J. Watt, DE, Wisconsin
If your Secondary is bad and you have to go against WR’s like Jackson,Maclin,Nicks you are going to lose games. Gimore is like Patrick Peterson as in he is an Athlete and can Cover and return punts and kickoffs.

CLE- Vontaze Burfict, LB, ASU 2011- Robert Quinn, DE, N.C.
The Browns have gotten better but still need help on Defense. Vontaze Burfict might be the Best LB Prospect since Patrick Willis and could have the same impact.

WAS- Justin Blackmon, WR, OK State 2011- Blaine Gabbert, QB, Missouri
The Redskins might have taken Blackmon if he had Declared for the 2011 NFL Draft but they got Gabbert. I don’t think Washington will have a True Starting all year. Gabbert to Blackmon should be a Great Connection for years to come.

SF- Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan State 2011- Prince Amukamara, CB, Nebraska
Franklin could be gone buy this time and no QB is good enough here. Worthy is a big DT that should take the Role Franklin left behind.

HOU- Janzen Jackson, FS, Tennessee 2011- Von Miller, OLB, Texas A&M
Just like the Titans Manning is in their Division. Kareem Jackson was a start but no is the time to get a Real Ball Hawk.

MIN- Devin Taylor, DE, South Carolina 2011- Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas
Ray Edwards might be gone and the Vikings need to get pressure on the Great QB’s in their Division. Taylor is a big DE that has good production in the SEC.

MIA- Landry Jones, QB, Oklahoma 2011- Mark Ingram, RB, Alabama
The Dolphins need a QB. Landry Jones might be a reach here but the Dolphins biggest need is QB and Jones is the Best one here.

SEA- Janoris Jenkins, CB, Florida 2011- Jake Locker, QB, Washington
The Secondary has gotten better with Earl Thomas but the CB Position is still of need. Jenkins is a steal here. Janoris should come in and be a starter right away.

JAX- Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska 2011- Cameron Jordan, DE, California
The Jaguars are just like the Texans and Titans, Their Secondary is bad and Peyton….
Dennard is a Great CB that can be a starter right away in Jacksonville.

OAK- Cliff Harris, CB, Oregon 2011- None
This is kind of an AL Davis pick but it depends on Scrabble. If he stays with the Raiders this pick changes but if he leaves then Cliff Harris is the pick. A Fast Playmaker that can cover and return kicks and punts.

SD- Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame 2011- Ryan Kerrigan, DE, Purdue
Floyd could have been picked by the Chargers in 2011 but he did not Declare. A big Physical WR the kind the Chargers like could replace VJ if he leaves in FA.

DET- Manti Te’o, LB, Notre Dame 2011- Brandon Harris, CB, Miami
The Defense is becoming one of the better one’s in the NFL but the LB Core could get better. Te’o is a hard hitting LB that should be a Starter right away.

NYG- Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama 2011- Derek Sherrod, OT, Mississippi State
The Giants need a RB. Jacobs will be gone while Bradshaw is small and has fumbling issues. Trent Richardson could be the Best RB Prospect since AD, He is big and fast with good Vision.

KC- Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa 2011- Akeem Ayers, OLB, UCLA
Reiff is a good pick here because the Chiefs would be able to move Brandon Albert to the RT spot and Reiff would eventually move into the LT spot.

TB- Jayron Hosley, CB, Virginia Tech 2011- Aldon Smith, OLB, Missouri
Tampa Bay could use an upgrade at the CB position. Barber will retire soon and Talib will become the #1 and Hosley will be #2

IND- Mike Brewster, C, Ohio State 2011- Nate Solder, OT, Colorado
The Offensive Line will still be bad and old. Peyton as long as he stays healthy can play for another five years or so. Brewster would be able to take over for Jeff Saturday.

PHI- Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State 2011- Tyron Smith, OT, USC
The Eagles will need an understudy for Samuel. Rhodes is a RS Sophomore and is big at 6-1 208. A ballhawk and hard hitter, this will be a steal.

NO- Knile Davis, RB, Arkansas 2011- Stephen Paea, DT, Oregon State.
The Saints will not go back to the SuperBowl without a RB. Davis can be a speeder like Bush but can pound in between the tackles like Thomas.

STL- Jared Crick, DT, Nebraska 2011- Julio Jones, WR, Alabama
The Rams have gotten better getting after the QB but still need to find a long term solution at DT. Crick would be able to play DT in the 4-3 Defense.

BAL- Ryan Broyles, WR, Oklahoma 2011- Aaron Williams, CB, Texas
Mason will be gone and the Ravens want a bigger but Broyles could be a great Slot guy.

ATL- Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina 2011- Jon Baldwin, WR, Pittsburgh
The Falcons need a Young pass rusher for their team and Copes could be that guy,

NE- David DeCastro, OG, Stanford 2011- Adrian Clayborn, DE, Iowa - Ryan Williams, RB, Virginia Tech
Mankins might be gone and DeCastro seems like a Patriots type pick.

CHI- Rueben Randle, WR, LSU 2011- Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin
The NFC Championship Game proved to me that the Bears can’t win without a Tall, Strong WR and Randle is just that.

NYJ- Don’ta Hightower, LB, Alabama 2011- Allen Bailey, DE, Miami
The Jets could use another LB next to Harris on the Defense.

GB- T.J. McDonald, FS, USC 2011- Justin Houston, DE, Georgia
Charles Woodson might move to Safety but still Green Bay will need another Safety across from Morgan Burnett. McDonald could be a great fit.

PIT- Chase Minnifield, CB, Virginia 2011- Mike Pouncey, OG/C, Florida
The Steelers could use a CB for the Future and Minnifield should be a Great fit for them.

If the Bengals go Defense in the 1st might aswell chalk them up for the 1st over pick in 2012

If Woodson moves to safety, he would be the SS. Nick Collins is the FS and has been selected to multiple Pro Bowls. Burnett plays SS and would have to wait his turn if that is the decision. He may be able to backup at both positions.

agreed clayborn doesnt fit and had a terrible year in 2010..... and same with ryan williams who may be a third rounder at this point. i thought patriots liked productivity and consistency in college careers? oh they do, but apparently you dont see that lol

Thanks to BoneKrusher for this amazing sig!

                Go Gators/Pats/Celts/Red Sox!
