RavenofProphecy, you seem like a reasonable person. So, can you please stop projecting Paea to the Saints. The pick does not make sense for us given our needs at DE and given the talent on the board at that position.

To me, Justin Houston makes much more sense than Paea.

In the second round, DeMarco Murray is a wasted pick. Brooks Reed makes more sense as a guy who can come in and play at SLB in a similar role as the one Scott Fujita played for us.

In the third round, Kenrick Ellis is a better pick than Mark Herzlich. Ellis gives us an immediate backup to Shaun Rogers at NT and a guy who could be a starter not too far down the road.

Finally, we have some needs at safety behind Roman Harper. DeAndre McDaniel would be a solid choice as a backup to Harper for us.

      Recap:

      1. Justin Houston, DE
      2. Brooks Reed, SLB
      3a. Kenrick Ellis, NT
      3b. DeAndre McDaniel, S

Not spectacular but goes a long way to fill our needs on defense.

2 Centers? Unless we plan on moving Wisniewski to OG which isnt likely because he isnt a power scheme fit at OG IMO. OLB, DL or OL could work out in the 4th

I like Davon House as a better prospect than Carmichael and he fits as well.

Can't complain about that. DE is another need but a lot of us Jets fans are getting the feeling we'll grab one late so great job.

I don't think the Panthers can go QB. They have no second round pick. If they take Newton they will be no better than they were last year. I like Clausen anyway. They need to take someone who will help next season.

The pats should take Wilkerson at 28. There will be a gaurd at 33.

I've already stated I'm not on the 2 DE draft
I'm not a fan of any of the LBs you selected
and not getting one of the top OLB prospects doesn't sit right with me.
The draft isn't a success without one, honestly.
These are my picks if the board fell your way:

              1-C.Heyward DE
              1-J.Houston OLB
              2-S.Wisnieski OG
              2-G.Little WR
              3-R.Williams RB
              3-J.Carpenter OT
              4-J.Kirkpatrick C

The two DE draft for the Pats is an interesting idea. In a way I like it. You could potentially have two stud DE's for the forseeable future. But when they have so many other needs it's a tough call. If it means missing out on a top OLB, I wonder if it is the best approach.

Good draft though. And I like the Cliff Matthews pick in round 4. I actually don't think he will go that high but he's one of those guys I just like as a player and would be really interested to see what he could do in the Pats defense.

We really don't need two linebackers. We have plenty of depth at the position, we just could use an impact player opposite Matthews. I'd like Brandon Burton in the second instead.

Ingram works, but we don't need a corner, so give us James Carpenter there instead and Harris is a decent option in the 4th.

As a vikings fan I loved the draft but our 2nd rounder of Allen Bailey isn't the best fit or need. Draft day trade? Stefen for bailey ;)

Clayborn over Taylor? A huge no-no for Denver. They have no depth at DT and Jarvis Jenkins isn't going to get anyone excited around here.

I don't think the Tits can afford to use two of their first three picks at linebacker.
