  • My first mock!

    1. Carolina (2-14) Cam Newton QB Auburn
He is a rare talent and the Panthers will not be able to pass on all that potential.
    2. Denver (4-12) Marcell Dareus DT Alabama
Denver needs an interior lineman and after what Suh did last year DT will be hot this year.
    3. Buffalo (4-12) Patrick Peterson CB LSU
Is on everyones top three and goes number three. The Bills could go Fairly but Peterson is a better character guy.
    4. Cincinnati (4-12) Nick Fairly DT Auburn
Cincy could go so many directions from QB, WR, CB, DE, DT but Fairly is the best on the board.
    5. Arizona (5-11) Blaine Gabbert QB Missouri
Cards really slipped without a true signal caller. I think Gabbert might be a season or two away but this keeps Fitz happy.
    6. Cleveland (5-11) Julio Jones WR Alabama
AJ Green and Jones are 1a and 1b so who fits the system better. I think Jones fits better with the Browns.
    7. San Francisco (6-10) Von Miller OLB Texas A&M
A pass rush natural with the instincts and athleticism to play OLB.
    8. Tennessee (6-10) Robert Quinn DE North Carolina
Falls right into the Titans laps after their hopes of Gabbert disappear.
    9. Dallas (6-10) Prince Amukamara CB Nebraska
Dallas really can sit and take the best player available. They have no glaring needs but if they did secondary would be it.
10.Washington (6-10) JJ Watt DE Wisconsin
The Skins need a few positions and a DE for the 3-4 is one. Too early for Ingram and Mallett.
11.Houston (6-10) Aldon Smith OLB Missouri
Smith is a good fit for the 3-4 and will bring an immediate pass rush.
12.Minnesota (6-10) Ryan Mallett QB Arkansas
With Favre finally retired and no such hope on the roster the Vikings get the best pure passer in the draft.
13.Detroit (6-10) Tyron Smith OT USC
The Lions finally have something to build on so lets keep the QB upright this year!
14.St. Louis (7-9) AJ Green WR Georgia
The Rams get a steal when Green falls out of the top ten. If a team ahead of them drafts best player available this won't happen.
15.Miami (7-9) Mark Ingram RB Alabama
This is a need pick. Both Brown and Williams are free agents and the Phins NEED a back. They get the best one in the draft.
    16.Jacksonville (8-8) Da'Quan Bower DE Clemson
Bower has some character and medical questions. If a team can look past both he is a top ten pick. But he also could slide.
17.New England - from Oakland (8-8) Ryan Kerrigan OLB Purdue
Kerrigan is a great pass rusher with fluid hips. Will fit right in on the Pats defense.
18.San Diego (9-7) Cameron Jordan DE Cal
Jordan is a perfect 3-4 DE.
19.New York Giants (10-6) Anthony Castonzo OT BC
Castonzo is not going to be a great tackle but good enough and has the experience to play LT
20.Tampa Bay (10-6) Brandon Harris CB Miami
Rhonde Barber is 36 years old!
21.Kansas City* (10-6) Phil Taylor NT Baylor
A perfect 3-4 anchor. They might trade down for him but if you want him you might have to overdraft him with Ravens, Pats, Steelers, and many other 3-4 teams in the wings.
22.Indianapolis* (10-6) Gabe Carimi OT Wisconsin
Manning did not look the same when he doesn't have 5 seconds to throw every pass and Carimi will help that right away.
23.Philadelphia* (10-6) Jimmy Smith CB Colorado
Gives the Eagles a great CB Tandom to help the edge rushers rush the QB.
24.New Orleans* (11-5) Justin Houston DE Georgia
Gives the Saints a pass rusher.
25.Seattle* (7-9) Adrian Clayborn DE Iowa
Good Bull rush pass rusher for the Hawks.
26.Baltimore* (12-4) Torrey Smith WR Maryland
The burner from Mayland will help improve Flacco and his YPA.
27.Atlanta* (13-3) John Baldwin WR Pittsburgh
Falcons need a solid #2 WR for Matt Ryan.
28.New England* (14-2) Mike Pouncey OG Florida
With Neal and Mankins all but gone Pouncey is a day one starter. Damn!
29.Chicago* (11-5) Derek Sherrod OT Mississippi St
Bears need a tackle to keep Cutler upright!
30.New York Jets* (11-5) Muhammad Wilkerson DE Temple
Ellis is not getting any younger and Wilkerson fits perfect in the system.
31.Pittsburgh* (12-4) Benjamin Ijalana OT Villanova
At this point the Steelers have seen about every player they hoped would fall not fall. Don't be shocked to see a trade here. Ijalana is a smart player with a ton of experience. He also has long long arms and quick feet.
32.Green Bay* (10-6) Martex Wilson ILB Illinois
With AJ Hawk gone this fills a need.

          Nice Miami pick.

And although Martex is an awesome name, sadly his name is just Martez.

Dolphins Dream Draft: 1. Jaylon Smith 2. Artie Burns 3. Landon Turner

I dont like justin houston in a 4-3 D but the saints do need a pass rusher and there are plenty of people who project houston to do well in a 4-3 so the pick makes sense but I personally dont like it

            Saints 2014 draft wish list:
            - No pass rusher till the fourth round (or preferably at all)
            - Corner or Wideout in the first
            - No reaching
            - No Kelvin Benjamin
