      terrible saints pick, just awful

      Saints 2014 draft wish list:
      - No pass rusher till the fourth round (or preferably at all)
      - Corner or Wideout in the first
      - No reaching
      - No Kelvin Benjamin

Packers wont reach for an OLB when we already have Zombo, Walden, Matthews, Jones. If we get an OLB it will either be in the later rounds or if Akeem Ayers falls down the board. They wont take a player if hes rated lower than the draft slot.

I totally understand what you're saying but I didn't feel like that was a reach. Sheard has been gaining a ton of momentum lately and I would expect at least some teams to have a 1st round grade on him.

              You forgot Castonzo.

Love Heyward to the Steelers though.

I didn't forget Castonzo. For all this talk of some surprise OT's sneaking into the first, I thinking it might tip the other way where we see the tackles start slipping a bit. If one of them slips into the early second, I kind of think it might be Castonzo. There were a couple spots I strongly considered him in the late 1st but none that I was really sold on.

In that case, I'd go with Solder. Reminds me a bit of Eben Britton in the way he dropped.

I can buy that. I just think Solder has a higher upside and some more dominant film. Both have struggled with consistency, Solder probably more so than Castonzo, but I just think that Solder's talent will intrigue more teams.

I can see the Vikings taking Bowers at #12.

I'm scared of Bowers, that it worst case scenario in my opinion for the Vikings. Mallett to the cocaine capital of the country seems like a match made in heaven.

Nice pick with Jordan, but I'd change #28 to Heyward. I don't see Brooks Reed as a good value there - questionable instincts, trouble shedding blocks, making a risky transition from 4-3 end to 3-4 linebacker, wasn't very productive in college, etc.
