Will the Falcons really draft another CB in the 1st round?

Okam is so awful it isn't even funny. He is worse than Rod Wright and William Joseph.

-It could happen, but I just think they will look defense here. If they can't/don't resign Kenyatta Walker, this is more likely.

    4. Miami Dolphins - Quentin Moses/DE/Georgia
Jason Taylor still has a couple good years in him. Not to mention they added Matt Roth last season.

    7. Detroit Lions - Drew Stanton/QB/Michigan St
I personally don't think Stanton is even close to a 1st round pick. His arm strength just isn't impressive. I think by April, most will see him as a 3rd rounder.

    8. Buffalo Bills - Brian Brohm/QB/Louisville
Stud QB, but Losman is just starting to come into his own. I think they give him 1 more year, and address D-line or Secondary here.

    10. San Francisco 49ers - Levi Brown/OT/Penn St
OT could be a top priority, but I think bringing in a playmaker on offense is so much more important. The best WR on their roster right now might be Arnaz Battle. And that's not good.

    13. Washington Redskins - Marcus McCauley/CB/Fresno St
Denver actually has Washington's first round. And vice versa.

    15. St Louis Rams - Brandon Merriweather/S/Miami
Merriweather is falling off boards fast. With the whole Albert Haynesworth thing, people are going to be forgetting that he even exists.

    27. Atlanta Falcons - Antonie Cason/CB/Arizona
I'd say S ahead of CB, and maybe even OT if there's one available.

    28. New England Patriots - David Harris/OLB/Michigan
Great pick. I like the idea of Harris in the 1st round. He's been dominate this year.

    29. Jacksonville Jaguars - Micheal Bush/RB/Louisville
I don't think they take another Injury prone big man. They have Greg Jones.

    32. Chicago Bears - Ryan Harris/OT/Notre Dame
John Tait is still on roster. I don't know why they'd take OT. Personally I like Brian Leonard here, but that's just my opinion.

And I really don't like Brian Leonard. First off you don't take a FB in the 1st Round, because that's what he'd be playing. And with our RB depth, there's no way in hell we do take an RB/FB in the 1st. If you honestly think that our biggest need area is RB/FB, I have sympathy for you.

Who cares if John Tait is still on the roster, we have no young guys behind him that are worth a damn. We have to get young OL talent in here because Miller, Tait, and Brown aren't getting any younger.

OL, OLB (if Briggs leaves), TE, SS, and WR are our biggest need areas this year.

Man you're high as a kite if you think that Stanton is still going in the top 15, or that the Lions are taking a QB in the first round next year.

If bengals end up taking TE they would atleast attempt to trade down first....also olsen wouldent be the TE they take.Zach Miller is much more what their looking for in a te.

McFarland is likely gone after 2007, before the final and most expensive year of his contract kicks in. Maybe even after this year, although I think the team will hang on to him and maybe restructure his contract a bit (moving even more money to that 2008 year).

Even if Corey Simon returns healthy next year, which is my thought process at the moment, the Colts need to upgrade the DT rotation currently as well as groom a starter for 2008 (as noted above).

If bengals take a TE day 1 it will be zach miller who is more balanced then olson.

the niners just signed jonas jennings to a 7-year deal last year and so i dont think that they will spend some more money on the same position

I love the Cason pick. I know we don't need another CB...but at the same time...he's a great one to have as a nickel / dime guy for his rookie year...and he's going to blow up. He's a playmaker...and with the Falcons having no positions of dire need...I am up for just about any position for the Falcons...he is a player I definately like.
