I disagree, call me a homer but Ed Reed is the most complete, he is the best cover safety and he hits harder than anyone gives him credit for, plus he is a leader!!

Polamalu is also a better and more complete safety than Wilson. I do think Wilson gets looked over by alot of people because he plays for the Cardinals and people forget about him. Wilson is a top 10 safety in the NFL no doubt.

Dawan Landry is way better than LaRon Landry. 8)
stat wise its going to be incredibly hard to match Dawan's rookie season for Laron

I'm going to disagree on that one. Reed is more complete and I'd take him over any safety in the NFL.

He was close, but I just couldn't put him in over Polamalu.

Last year it was Reed or Polamalu. Now its Dawkins or Reed. I say that Polamamlu is better then Dawkins, but Reed is the best safety in the league. Here is a better question, who is the better player in the secondary?

                    Ed Reed or Champ Bailey

Reed can play FS well, so it is a legitimate question. They are very similar players in that they are intelligent, have pretty good speed (Reed's a little faster), and can hit like trucks. I have always liked what they bring to their defenses, especially Dawkins because he is one of the best leaders in the game today. Reed would be the leader of the Baltimore D as well, but that is Lewis' job. If you watched Reed ath the U you know he is a great leader.

I give Dawkins the slight edge over Reed, but in a few years when Reed is in his prime, he will be a better player then Dawkins' in his prime.

                          A Dub
                          4 sacks
                          4 FF
                          4 Ints
                          85 Tackles

                          Reed
                          0 sacks
                          1 FF
                          5 Ints
                          60 Tackles

                          Dawkins
                          1 sack
                          5 FF
                          4 Int
                          98 Tackles

so its between Dawkins and A Dub for most complete Safety

even though i probally take Reed over both of em

Reed would have a lot more tackles if the Ravens' defense wasn't so good.

I agree. Especially for defensive players.
