Why oh why didn't we draft Brain Leonard.

Unfortunately I agree. The guy does not look like a full back. He seems like a decent receiving option but I doubt he provides too much in the form of blocking and running.

Tell me about it. It's pretty hard to compare Leonard to Alstott when Leonard hasn't played a down. Alstott is the best rushing FB I've ever seen. Terrific red-zone threat.

He is impossible to replace. Not only on the field but off the field too. He is one of the most popular Buccaneers in franchise history. If he actually retires I foresee some kind of front office gig.

Leonard is a very different type of player from the giant battering ram that is Mike Alstott. It's such a shame that his talents have been squandered under Gruden. Too bad, he could have been a HOFer. After taking a full year off, I see him just hanging up the cleats and landing an announcing gig.

He was good in his prime but has lost a step or so. He played twelve years and he has a superbowl ring and has nothing else to prove. A sure hall of famer down the road.

Is he really a HOFer? Right now, Id have to say no, he wasn't a very good blocker. He was a glorified short yardage back.

I loved Alstott, but I have to agree that he isn't a HOFer. He had some of the best runs though, guys bouncing off him left and right.

                          I've always liked Alstott.
