In the AFC, common sense would tell us that Thomas Howard and Kirk Morrison would at least deserve very strong consideration for spots in Hawaii. By stats, neither Larry Johnson nor Ladanian Tomlinson deserve to go.

    Oldie but a goodie.

Way to early for this nonsense and all its going to do is spark love and hate fests for certain players.

I don't think KGB would make it while only being a pass rushing specialist. I don't even think he plays on first or second down.

As for McNabb making it. Hysterical. Maybe if he played the Lions 4 more times this year. I wouldn't even put Osi in yet, although there is less competition at DE than QB.

People that should be considered for the Browns: Kellen Winslow (pretty much a lock), Cribbs (probable), Steinbach (possible) and Wimbley (unlikely). D'Qwell and Thomas have very very outside chances.

Early, but on a team that had so many pro-bowlers last year (San Diego) the only lock seems to be Gates....only probable one also....

Everyone knows that the pro-bowl is pretty much just a popularity contest. So someone who did just as much if not more will not go, in place a more popular player that did about the same will.

Jones is for St. Louis, not Seattle

I emphasize this because the Bills' punter is the only guy with a shot this year, making it the most important position (although, when is it not?). If Crowell makes some more big plays he could be in consideration, but it's crowded there and I wouldn't give it a shot really.

Yes, KGB shouldn't be allowed to make it because of his role as a specialist. And I do agree that it is too early for this stuff. Sure, speculation isn't always a bad thing, but this is a little too early and on too little action.

I dunno, Merriman will make it IMO, even if only on reputation.

I don't know if Winslow is a lock. AFC is LOADED with great TEs (Gonzalez, Gates, Clark and Watson).

Don't get me wrong, Kellen Jr. is among the best, but it's possible the voters may overlook him.

I agree, Gates/Gonzalez have been big names for a long time whereas Kellen is playing in Cleveland... Winslow will need to put up 1,000-1,200 yards as well as somewhere around 8 TDS to catch everyone attention and get into the pro-bowl.

Edwards is just playing amazing right now, almost averaging 100 yards per game and he has 4 TDs...

Right now I could see Chad Johnson, Moss, and Braylon Edwards at the pace all three are going at.

Braylon is a playa, but I don't think he'll make the pro bowl because A) he plays in Cleveland, B) Derek Anderson is his QB, and C) I dunno how long he can keep playing at that pace.

If he can keep putting up the stats he is right now, sure he probably will, but I don't think he will, especially with the human pick machine throwing to him. Plus this is a popularity contest in a league with Randy Moss, Chad Johnson, Marvin Harrison, TJ Howsyourvannila will get votes just because people know them.

I don't think they will, Gonzalez isn't having a good enough year, and Winslow is looking like he'll clear 1000 yards easy this year. Clark I can see possibly, but when his game is TDs, he'll have dry spell eventually. I think he's caught half of Peyton's TDs this year. That certainly won't keep up.
