  • Ain't it funny..

At draft day, two notable trades were made in the 1st round. The browns traded a 2008 1st for QB Brady Quinn to the Cowboys. Many thought the cowboys would be picking in the top 5.

The 49ers also swung a deal, trading a 08 1st to the Patriots for T Joe Staley. Many thought the Pats would be getting a late 1st rounder for the up and coming 49ers.

Now we are going into week 10 and the roles are reversed. The Browns are the up and coming team, in a tougher conference no less. The 49ers have played like garabage all year (including their 2 wins). Just goes to show you the offseason champs really dont work out.

No offense....but I don't think anyone thought the 1st rounder from the Niners would be a late 1st rounder. My preseason mock had them picking at around 14.

I thought they would be around that area too, around 16-18 ish. Im talking about media types and the more optimistic fans (49er and non-49er fans included)

Yeah many were figuring the 49ers would be around 8-8. That is good for around 18-22 in the draft. As a Giants fan, I'm happy for every Browns win there is. It was a good move by the Browns, because Quinn would probably be rated ahead of all the QBs this year.

I had the 49ers as a 5 win team so I'm not shocked.

              O-line is too underrated.

On here it is because the common football fan will rarely sit down and analyze why an offense is productive. They just sit there and watch the ball carriers, play fantasy football, set records in madden...you know.

But the smart decison makers realize what an O-line can do for an offense.
