Jessica Simpson can date whoever she wants on the Saints. As long as he's doing it naked in my living room.

he was also one of the biggest douche bag and locker room cancer on the Giants. did I respect his game? of course, but his mouth and locker room crap, I'll pass.

I feel bad for Shockey, like really bad. He'd kill(literally) kill someone to play this game. His energy and passion he's put in for us. Damn, i'd love him out there, but if we win, he'll get a ring regardless

Congrats to the Giants... They came away with something from this season... NFC Champions. Without that win yesterday, this season wouldn't have meant much more than any other playoff loser. IMO, only SB, Conference and Division Champions come away with anything positive to build off of for next year.
          Agreed.

Tiki was a lockeroom cancer who just happened to have a good enough reputation with the media so it was reported as constructive.

That's Jessica Simpson? I couldn't even tell with the face. In other words, I agree.

Interesting comments about Eli from another poster in the Chargers forum. Do you all agree with these comments?

                LYI:
he says the pre game speeches before the game, he assumes the role of the leader

eli is forced to make all these great pre snap reads...realizes what the defense is doing, and then tells the center how to set the blocking fronts to neutralize the pass rush. its NOT the offensive line that is good...eli's recognition before the snap is amazing.

eli audibles alot more, and given more freedom on the field. ever since shockey got hurt, hes been audible'n more.

his coach isn't all that good, or offensive minded. hes really turning into a field general.

Since when is Tom Coughlin not an offensive minded coach?

We've always said that about Eli. He has always been given more as far as responsibilities and reads before the snap than anyone young QB in the league. And a lot of his incompletions/interceptions came from WRs not running the right routes. (Shockey being the number 1 offender in my opinion). I believe Trent Dilfer went back and looked at all the tape for NFL Network and said 13 of Eli's 20 INTs weren't his fault. Every QB gets a couple that weren't his fault but 13 of 20 seems like a lot. I dunno if I really believe what Trent said though.

The pre snap reads is on target. Eli almost makes too many out there. Which is why we are always on the verge of getting delay of game. The Colts almost use a no huddle offense the majority of a game. We don't. Because of this and the fact Eli makes all these reads, we are almost always on the verge of delay of game.

I dunno about the comment about the coach. Coughlin is offensive minded, sometimes too much in my opinion. And the O-line is very solid. Not the best pass blocking unit out there but certainly average, however they are a very dominating run blocking unit. They really stepped up this postseason. Kareem McKenzie absolutely dominated Kampman and made him a complete non factor in the game against the Packers.

The stuff about Eli is spot on. He's had to do that since his 2nd year in the NFL. There aren't many qbs in the league with more responsibility than him.

As for the line, its a dominant run blocking unit, average pass blocking unit. Eli makes it look better than it is with his protection adjustments, pocket presence, and his ability to let go of the ball on time.

Coughlin is offensive minded. He's wrong about that.

So Eli does give the pregame speeches to his fellow players? Man, someone should post it on youtube just to show people what Eli's really like.

As for the coach comment, I tried asking him if he was talking about Coughlin or Gilbride. He hasn't answered yet. Maybe he's talking about Gilbride.

Eli is very protective of his real personality. According to teammates he is the biggest joker/prankster on the team.
