Those were last years numbers, Larry's not even a pro bowler.

Yea, the NFL Network listing says 2007 challenge. Wow, the one time T-New finally gets there they don't have the events? What a bummer.

I dont think they would let T-New participate in the events...not w/ his foot problem. Too risky...also, he cannot run anywhere near as fast as he can right now.

            Thanks BoneKrusher^

Yes he can, he is back to 100 percent. He was at 100 percent for the playoff game. It said so on dallascowboys.com. He caight stallworth from behind in the game against the pats all the way back in week 6. Straight line speed wasn't his problem with the plantar fascia, it was planting. He is already back to 100%.

                  Maybe..... LMAO.

No, are you serious? I am just a diehard cowboy fan and he is my favorite player. I know he would win the contest, and the skills challenge is fun, I am just mad they aren't there this year.

I dont buy that he was 100% at all...when receivers got by him, he could barely catch up. His speed was far from consistant all year...he had his good days and bad days. Even later in the year he had complained about the pain. It's not all about planting/cutting...every step he took it would feel like he was running on sharp objects. Plus he has knee and toe problems...which gave him the most trouble this season. He wont be 100% until next season because, he hasnt had a real chance to give it the rest it needs. Even in an interview last month...he was saying he was feeling almost back 100% but, he wasnt there yet. Participating in the skills challenge would have just been a bad idea.

Hester would get smoked, he's not that fast in a straight line. (compared to the elite speed guys)

Yeah... that 4.29 40 sure is slow straight line speed.

                              Who runs a 4.29?

Hester ran a 4.41 at the Combine and 4.35 at his pro-day...

I believe the fastest he has ever ran a 40 electronically timed was a 4.19
