The Bears gotta be kicking themselves.

I believe this scource (Darin Gantt, Carolina Panthers beat writer for the Herald) broke the news, but here's a link regardless.

I doubt it. Harris is too slow to play in the cover 2. He's a very average player all-around, but especially for our scheme. We drafted Kevin Payne to replace him, unfortunatley he got injured this year.

I'd still rather have the 5th rounder.

I'm amazed Harris tallied 8 forced fumbles last season though, that's quite a number.

I'm surprised at the deal that Greg Jones got. He is never healthy.

A few more free agents to add to the list, as the Buffalo Bills released released WR Peerless Price, LB Kevin Harrison, and DB EJ Underwood.

Wow, that was quick. I wonder what the exact deal is.

The Seahawks aren't shy about signing players to lucrative deals, this could help set the market for this offseason.

I believe Greg Jones is now the highest paid fullback in the history of the NFL. Ovie Mughelli got that title last year, but he was six year for eighteen million compared to Greg Jones' five years for eighteen million.

I don't think he'll have a year as big as this past one statistically. When I posted that, I thought well, he didn't fit the scheme that well so maybe not. It's hard to ignore the numbers which is really what I'm getting at.

Bucs resign Michael Bennett, per PFT.

                                Falcons apparently cut Rod Coleman.
