also what i love about Martin was the way he played the game
and how are you avg if you run for 1000 yards 10 years in a row
and 7 of them he avg 4.0 or better, 9 season with atelast 40 catches
6 of the 10 yrs he had atleast 9 TDs, only 15 fumbles in 10 yrs, 7 in his last 7
    3,500 + carrys , 14000 + yards, 90td is not avg to me, missing only 3 games 2 injury

    and consistent means EVERYTHING

I thought so, just someone questioning why a RB was in someones top 5 favorite made me question if it was favorite or top 5 best all time...I liked Martin, not in my top 5 or 10, but I like him more than say Emmitt Smith, but that's just a personal preference

just seems to me he only has the numbers because he was able to stay away from injuries. i think you would agree with me that not once in his time in the league was he the best RB or even top 3 he might have cracked top 3 once or twice in the 10 years.

and he didn't play the game in any spectacular fashion. but just my opinion. its your top fav, who am i to rag on it.

        Silverback....still the best.

                      1. Barry Sanders(I think it is obvious, the greatest runner of all time.)
                      2. Samkon Gado(come on, third string at 1aa Liberty. It was just a great story.)
                      3. Christian Okoye(I still contend he was better than Bo Jackson in Tecmo Super Bowl, he broke every tackle and was damn near as fast as Bo.)
                      4. Marcus Allen(I love his run in the Super Bowl.)
                      5. Earl Campbell(Holy ****)
Honorable Mention- Karim Abdul Jabbar, just because he stole Kareem's name.
Damn, two people beat me to the Nigerian Nightmare. I thought for sure I would be the only person to pick him.

I don't really have many favorites that aren't on my team. Everyone else is the enemy.

I am done arguing, until somebody says something stupid.
