I did my best to be smart, rather than just naming the '07 Pro Bowlers. Manning is still the best QB in the league, in my opinion. Brady was awesome last year, but I still prefer Manning. I gave him Chad Johnson and Reggie Wayne to pass to. He has the chemistry with Wayne, who is still a Top 5 NFL receiver in his own right, and Ocho Cinco, despite all the stuff in CIN, is still my favorite WR in the NFL and will give up his body for the catch. Antonio Gates is an athletic pass-catching TE who is a better blocker than Kellen Winslow, and has been extremely productive and consistent over the past few seasons. Marion Barber gets the nod over RB's like LT and AD, because with the offensive play-makers around him, the team doesn't need a sexy RB who leads the league in TD's or runs for 200-yds a game to be successful. Instead, they need a tough RB who can pound the ball and pick up tough yards, while still being able to catch the ball and pass-block on 3rd down - Barber is perfect. Greg Jones is a solid RB who can also take carries at RB. On the OL, you have road-graders like Hutchinson, McKinnie, and Stewart to pave the way for Barber, a RB that lacks elite speed. Saturday has the chemistry with Manning, and Dockery is a young guard to round out the age balance.

On DEF, you have the most physically domineering DT tandem in the NFL with Fat Al and Big John. Kyle Vanden Bosch is the high motor guy at RE who is still a multiple Pro Bowler, and Justin Tuck adds youth, potential, and versatility at LE. Tuck can rotate inside on passing downs. At SLB, I put Keith Bulluck, who has been the most productive and consistent 4-3 OLB in the NFL over the past 5 years and is one of the best coverage LB's in the NFL. Julian Peterson is opposite him at WLB, and is a better blitzer than Bulluck. Patrick Willis is a young, stud ILB that would dominate with Al and John in front of him. In the secondary, you have young CB's with great ball skills in Cromartie and Mathis. The safety blanket of Ed Reed will allow the young corners to go for the INT, and DPOY Bob Sanders can roam with the talented cover DB's to help him. There will be lots of turnovers with players like KVB, Tuck, Fat Al, Big John, and Peterson on the front and players like Cro, Mathis, Reed, and Bulluck is coverage.

On ST's, you have Rob Bironas as the PK, who was the best kicker in the league last year. Dustin Colquitt is a great young punter who could kill the Coffin Corner in college. Hester is the best KR in the history of the league, and PacMan Jones would be the best PR in the NFL if it weren't for character issues and his teammate, Hester.

Offense: Running offense, built on pounding the ball and ball control. WR's can block and O-line is nasty.

Kick Returner: Josh Cribbs (Cleveland Browns)

Offense- Spread offense. Power back with speed, pure speed back with receiving capabilities, deep thread and amazing threat, possesion receiver and redzone threat, slot receiver, powerful offensive line that will overwhelm defensive lineman.

Defense- Big defensive line, all 6'5" or over, none of the players under 280 pounds, all are great run stoppers and can all get to the quarterback. Linebackers are ballhawks. Michael Boley can do everything, Lofton is a pounding middle linebacker in the middle of the defense, and Julian Peterson is a ballhawk who will blitz a lot. Ed Reed is the centerfielder, Bob Sanders roams around, Cromartie and DeAngelo Hall lock up man to man with receivers and look for big plays. The secondary is built on interceptions and big plays.

Special Teams: Big plays from Devin Hester at punt returner, Josh Cribbs is consistent and gets big plays at kick returner.

The problem arises when people use statistics like a drunk uses a lamp post: for support instead of illumination.

If luck is where preparation meets opportunity, then clutch is where failure meets luck.
