Landry isn't even top 5 at his position, not sure how people can say is one of the top 5 defensive players in the league.

I think that there are plenty of DTs that are better than harris in the game right now. Tommie Harris being one of them, and Mario is turning into a huge problem for left tackles.

This list isnt in any kind of order

Bob Sanders, he can drop back in coverage but what I love so much about him is that he plays tough and isnt afraid to come up and smack a back right in the mouth. He pretty much is the Colts run D.

Jarred Allen, you cant argue with those sack totals. Also the thing about Defense is that you are only as good as the people around you and with those to monsters clogging up the middle next year for Allen he can worry alot more about his pass rush, so those numbers may even go up!

Tommie Harris, amazing 3 tech guy who just plays tough.

Now I know we are all talking about individuals but thats not what Defense is about so...

The Williams brothers, there is no DT duo like them in the league, they command the LOS with brute force.

Mario Williams and Amobi Akoye, (You all may see this as a homer pick) IMO they are starting to look like the Simeon Rice and Warren Sapp duo

i dont know how the hell roy williams ever got on this list.
                  what about ray lewis?!
yeah hes gettin old, but he can play for another 5 years and hes still producing.

he had another 100+ tackle season and can still play with the best of the best.

but if it werent positionwise, id go

                    John Henderson
                    Albert Haynesworth
                    Mario Williams
                    Jared Allen

Justin Tuck over Ed Reed, Nnamdi Asomugha, Richard Seymour, Shawne Merriman, and Patrick Kerney?

Amazing what a great Super Bowl can do for your reputation. Tuck needs to prove he's not a flash in the pan first, and secondly, he isn't better than the guys mentioned.

LOL @ sean jones and this is like Deja Vu with people trying to convince me that Troy P is better than (insert redskins safety)

Ill give you Reed, Dawkins, Wilson, and i guess Bob Sanders but those are the only people that have a good case at being better than Landry. Did you watch him play

DE: Mario Williams, if he is up around 300lbs and still as explosive as last year then hes going to be unstoppable.

DT: Albert Haynesworth, when healthy he is incredible.

OLB: Demarcus Ware, his versatility is incredible.

MLB: Brian Urlacher, he is a perfect MLB he can do everything.

CB: Nnamdi, best shut down corner in the league.

S: Ed Reed, guy is straight up incredible.
