I still think that Kevin Carter is under rated. He has been for a lot of his career. He was great for a three year stretch before he left the Rams. He is a big guy with some great pass rushing ability and a great motor. Whoever gets him will get him the 2.5 sacks he needs to reach 100 sacks in his career. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bucs pick him up and put him at UT.

We knew he was going to be cut if he didn't restructure. Roth is more than ready to start so it's not a drop off at all. Getting 6+ million in cap space is always good.

        That is correct comahan
        I ******* LOVE YOU DG

He is a classy guy and still can play. Titans or Rams could use him again ;-)

I thought he was a real good fit as a DE in Miami's 3-4. I think he could draw interest from other 3-4 teams like the 49ers, Jets, and Steelers.

He's been in contact with us about coming back, but we likely won't make a decision yet. Seems like we're going to let the first wave of FA's get scooped up and look for bargains later on.

It was simply a salary cap move because we had a guy waiting in the wings in Matt Roth. I have no doubt he'll get a good contract for around 2-3 years and get his 6 sacks a year. He was a great player. Good against the run, great pass rusher, high character guy, team leader and extremely durable having played every game for the last however many years.

He should be sought after by a team wanting to go deep in the playoffs.

Would love him back in two toned blue, his leadership qualities alone will make most DL's better. Perfect rotation DE for running and not so obvious passing downs.
