That will be a great game. Too bad the Ravens pussed out though

Yes I agree its stupid that the owners wimped out on that.

Haha, that is funny that the Ravens requested to not be involved. Assuming this game is played in the US and wouldn't take away a home venue, seems a little odd.

its because for the past couple of seasons we had a primetime game at PITT and not in Baltimore. I see how they are pissed but still it would have been so awesome having the opener.

That's an awesome matchup to kickoff the season. Opening up against Baltimore would've been just as great though, it's too bad.

Man this sucks. Now I am going to have to hear **** about the Ravens being *****'s and not wanting to play this game. Another reason to hate the Steelers

We as Ravens fans are clearly scum of the earth, and should just be happy that these great people, who cheer for nothing than the finest, morally impeccable players, playing on the finest, most morally impeccable teams, will grace us with their presence, and words of wisdom.

Sweet. I get to see my team play a real game before everyone else! :D

                      Besides the Steeler's fans obviously.

All of Week 1's primetime games were announced on ESPN a few minutes ago, I saw:

                        Titans @ Steelers, Thursday night
                        Bears @ Packers, Sunday night
                        Bills @ Patriots, Monday night
                        Chargers @ Raiders, Monday night
                        Pugnacity, testosterone, truculence, and belligerence.

This is one of the matchups I predicted. I wouldn't of minded a Viking-Steeler or Raven-Steeler game either. Great defensive matchup it looks to be. I hope Ryan Clark and company smack Nate Washington around. ;)

this is going to be a good start for the Packers, new to the 3-4 and facing a below average offense. A nice confidence boost.

                              Thanksgiving games announced:

                              Packers @ Lions
                              Raiders @ Cowboys
                              Giants @ Broncos

Thank goodness for the NFL primetime game, because those first two games are garbage. Ugh.

And LOL at the league scheduling the Raiders instead of the Chargers, afraid that the 'boys would get beat in their house on Thanksgiving.
