Travis Henry Faces 10+ Years in Federal Prison

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4068677

Former NFL player Travis Henry has signed a plea deal with prosecutors in which he admits to a single cocaine conspiracy charge in exchange for two other charges being dropped.

Under a plea deal filed with the court Tuesday, the 30-year-old Henry will admit to conspiracy to possess at least 11 pounds of cocaine with intent to distribute the drug.

If U.S. District Judge Richard Cebull accepts the plea, Henry faces a mandatory minimum 10 years to life in prison, $4 million fine and at least five years of supervised release.
Wow, what a crazy story. I can't imagine why he would be dabbling in the drug trade when he was making the money he was legally in the NFL. If you're that greedy, wait until your playing career's over at least.

because getting paid to do their job is degrading to women.

Middle manning blow...now that can be a very profitable enterprise if you need cash quick and you already have some capital to invest in it. You're going to hear more and more about this kind of stuff as the economy worsens.

Maybe it's just me, but I find it to be a very interesting story, if only for how much of a dumbass he is.
