Ultimate Mock Draft V: Fitzgerald goes No. 1

"For those of you who didnít tune into UMD4 last year or, for that matter, to the first, second and third incarnations for my previous employerís website hereís the drill:

I take the original draft order and play a hypothetical game in which the available pool consists of any human on earth, as is.

That means that while Sammy Baugh is no longer eligible, Sam Bradford is, along with everyone in the NFL and its current draft-eligible crop.

As for the inevitable emails correcting me for having Chicago pick 18th, Dallas 20th or Carolina 28th, I repeat:
This is the original draft order.

Trades do not exist in the UMD universe, so take a chill pill and be still.

And for those of you who just canít help yourselves, as with last year, I will pull a John McCain and make you famous.

Now, if youíll kindly excuse me, the team that went 0-16 last season is on the clock:"

I like how the Steelers picked Julius Peppers but then he doesn't take Coach Tomlin seriously and so he is on the kickoff coverage team. That made me giggle.

      Silverback....still the best.

+rep to Jakey for the sig

How about Rivers getting the snub?

I love how the Vikings end up with Kevin Williams haha. Which is good because Kevin Williams is great.

Maybe, because RBs are a dime a dozen. Even if they are Adrian Peterson, without an O-line, 90% of RBs are nothing.

How about Fitz going #1, but Andre Johnson doesn't get picked.

I don't care how good Larry Fitzgerald is. You can't pass on Peyton Manning and Tom Brady for anyone if you're the Lions.

And Mark Sanchez over Philip Rivers, Aaron Rodgers, etc.? What a moron.

Cromartie pick is beyond clinically ********, we've got good corners, we had a stupid coordinator who's now gone.

When will yahoo learn to do some freakin' research.

Yeah, that argument would make sense if the Raiders hadn't picked Chris Johnson. That ''OMG HEZ FAST AL DAVIS WILLL DRAFT HIM NO MATTERZ WHAT!!!!1111'' thing is getting stupid already.

It's a shame that a brilliant man like Nate Silver has to share a last name with this man.
