  • UDFAs to Make 53

Out of your UDFAs, which ones do you think will make the final 53?

    For the Steelers, I see:

Roman Foster OT/OG Tennessee- People see him as a Max Starks type, and the Steelers could use more offensive lineman.

Isaac Redman RB Bowie State- Look on Youtube. Dude moves really well for a big guy(6'1 230). Could make the roster if Frank Summers kicks Carey Davis off the roster.

Andrew Schantz LB Portland State- Tomlin loves special teams players and he could find a niche playing STs and back up both MLB positions.

Mark Estemyer LS Pittsburgh- Greg Warren is coming off an injury and might not be ready. Estemyer could take his place for good.

    Tyrell Sutton

There are a lot of Packer fans on here that are going to say Jamarko Simmons, but I don't see it.

I think quite a few will for the Broncos...but here are the ones that definately have to.

Chris Baker-Good player at a huge position of need

        Rulon Davis-Tall athletic 5-tech

Lee Robinson-Just a beastly guy, have no idea how he went undrafted.

        Everette Pedescleux-Another 5 tech

Those 4 will definately make the team, not sure about the others.

Really, our only UDFA that has a good chance of making the team is Marcus Thigpen, who is listed as a WR for the Eagles, but he'd almost be used strictly as a return man.
Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir is a goddess

Michael Ray Garvin as a KR and PR specialist for the Cardinals probably has the best shot. Not sure anybody else would make it, maybe Jameel Dowling for CB depth or Reggie Walker for LB depth/special teams.

I honestly could see those 4 starting or playing a significant role on the team.

The Buccaneers have a few guys to keep an eye on including.

DeAngelo Willingham as cornerback who could make it as the #4 or #5.

Marshall McDuffie a S out of Florida International who has impressed at both CB and S during the 3-day mini camp.

Rob Bruggeman the C out of Iowa could also make the roster as a depth guy.

A wildcard could also be QB Rodney Landers from James Madison who is being looked at as a potential defensive back in the pros.

The only Dolphins signings that I could see making it this year are Louis Ellis, NT, Shaw or Orion Martin, DE/OLB, Virginia Tech.

i don't see all of our draft picks making the roster, let alone UDFA's

Chris Baker, short of going to prison, is a lock to make the Broncos roster.

For the Browns, Phillip Hunt has a shot since the OLB position is in flux as is and there is a new coaching staff

Mike Rivera, the linebacker from Kansas is the only guy with a chance at the Bears roster, IMO. Might be decent on special teams.

Chase Patton will probably make the practice squad, though I'm hoping he's the #4 QB, not the #3. We need to bring in a vet.

Emanuel Cook S South Carolina - We dont have much depth at S and Cook should have been drafted so I see no reason why he cant make the team.

TJ Conley P Idaho - We need a punter.

Jamaal Westerman OLB Rutgers - Has been a pleasant suprise so far. He has made a smooth transition from DE to OLB.

Andrew Davie Arkansas, Rob Myers Utah State, J'Nathan Bullock Cleveland State, (All TE's) - We have 1 TE on the roster so 1 or maybe 2 of them makes the team.

Zach Potter DE Nebraska - We dont have much depth after trading away Coleman so he will add some depth.

STEAL...Had I known he and Frantz would of been UDFA I would of preferred not going LB heavy in the draft.

I think Kevin Ogletree has a good shot, he's in a battle, uphill albeit, but he's some I think we want to develop like Austin/Hurd...He could beat out Mannuel Johnson the 7th rounder.

I think Walter Mendenhall has a shot, I mean he is competing against Booker.
