Defenders would do the same thing. If they see someone who isn't paying attention, they will wack them. Everyone needs to keep their head on a swivil(sp).

How about Kimo Von Offeln? he still around? Just ask Carson Palmer what it's like to have a "Kimo" pulled on him.
lol, Kimo wasn't a dirty player. I guess Bernard Pollard is a dirty player too for diving from the ground to get a sack on Brady which tore his knee ligaments... That rule is so stupid...

Seriously? Are you seriously calling Kimo dirty after he got blocked into Palmer?

Come on now, Hines Ward winning this award is pure BS.

Where is Vince Wilfork, who loves to poke people in their face through the facemask well after the play is over, among plenty of other dirty things he gets away with.

I'm not buying that because Ward plays 110% and doesn't mind putting someone on his ass he's "dirty" because of it. Does anyone really think he meant to break Rivers jaw?

Dirty would of been Keith Rivers standing still, with the runner on the ground, and Ward going full speed helmet to helmet with him. It's a load of crap to me that because he's a WR, and defenders don't like to be hit hard by a WR, that makes him dirty.

Both were just freak plays IMO.

Yea, I don't really consider Ward's hit on Keith Rivers to be a cheap shot. It was completely within the rules at the time and the block actually had implications on the play. Keith wasn't wearing a mouth piece on that play either.

John Henderson and Vince Wilfork are the dirtiest players in the league, methinks.

Kevin Mawae is the NFLPA president. Who else finds it funny that he's in the top 5?

The guy's been in the league for 11 years, there's bound to be at least one time that he made a bad decision.

Look at this video of Troy P:
                        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ac-JYp25Bx0

Pretty dirty, but are you really going to say that Troy is a dirty player? They guy is almost a saint.

my favorite part of that video is when he lays a block on Ed Reed and automatically he calls to the Ravens sideline medical team to come out and help him and then turns and looks for my bodies to block.

                          Silverback....still the best.

Man, james harrison when he was pounding on an arizona player on the ground totally away from the play, that was just thug. But that was one play, so i dont think you can judge him for one play. Unless you're Jeremy Stevens who knee'd an oakland player in the balls multiple times.

I don't think that is dirty. I think he was just being a defender. It isn't like he was hurting him.

We as Ravens fans are clearly scum of the earth, and should just be happy that these great people, who cheer for nothing than the finest, morally impeccable players, playing on the finest, most morally impeccable teams, will grace us with their presence, and words of wisdom.

When discussing everything Stevens has done wrong, I'm not sure that would even crack the top 5. That guy is a total POS.
