    This is way too premature.

Ravens have to beat the Colts and probably Chargers, two teams better then them. Flacco will have to throw more then like 6 times to win those games. I love the Chargers to win the AFC.

Cowboys still have a long way to go, the Vikes are undefeated at home and Favre has been finding ways to win late in games all year, this game will DEFINATELY come down to the last few series in the 4th QT, I'm pretty sure of it.

The Cards I think beat the Saints, and with how Warner is playing they are probably my favorite to make the SB in the NFC now. Thing is, if you can get pressure on Warner he's a different QB, it's easier said then done, but we have seen time and time again if you can manage to do it he'll be off all game, but when you have Fitz and Boldin to throw quick passes too it's a whole nother story.

I like Chargers and Cardinals right now. Besides the fact that I think picking Dallas jinxes them, or me however you want to look at it, I would like for us to prove more then just winning a playoff game right now, the SB isn't about winning one week.

The problem with Warner is that you have to get that pressure rushing only 4. If you blitz him he will destroy you and absolutely pick you to pieces. That was the thing that stood out most when they thrashed the Vikes, we couldn't get any pressure with our front 4 and when we tried to blitz he just threw it wherever we blitzed from for an easy completion.

      As for this round...

I think Dallas matches up really well with the Vikes but it is also worth noting that our best offensive performances have mostly come against 3-4 teams, perhaps because it puts more of the read on Favre and makes him get the ball out, which helps cover for a weak pass protecting line, other than that I don't have any other reason why that may be. That said, Ware and Spencer should have an absolute field day against our concrete footed tackles, if those two can somehow be blocked, we have a chance.

Miles Austin after the catch also scares the hell out of me and we don't have a good matchup for Roy Williams either, nevermind Witten...

Cards should beat the Saints, imo. The offense is clicking and the defense matches up well with the Saints.

Ravens can beat the Colts, they will need to play well, but it is very doable.

Jets matchup well in theory with the Chargers. Revis will shut down Jackson, they should be able to slow the rest of the receivers and their run game in theory should do well, but I still cant pick against the Chargers because they have been that good lately.

Props to BK on the sig!

Ladainian basically played the role of 'any decent HB' vs. his usual superhero self.

Merriman has definitely played better than his #s, but I probably couldn't call him a top player on the defense right now. Phillips has seriously outplayed him, and Jammer, Weddle (so terrible without him, unbelievable), and Castillo's merry band of rotating D lineman were just as important if not moreso than Lights Out.
Glad your opinion has changed on him. He's really been such an important part of this defense. The true definition of a safety. I've lost count of how many TDs he saved through the air and the run because he was there to keep it from getting worst.

It's true, he is integral. I'm still trying to figure out if it's just because he is competent and I have witnessed a decade of sheer buffoonery at that position. Translation: would probably still slay a dragon to draft Taylor Mays. But I definitely appreciate Weddle.

I love me some Weddle he changed my mind about him last season, but I think a good match up to watch will be Revis vs Vjax with Vjax size I'm sure Revis will struggle to match up with him.

I'll be shocked if it happens. Both Teams still have a tough road ahead. Playing the Colts and Vikings at home this week will be a huge challenge for both of them. Then they'll likely run into another very good team in San Deigo and New Orleans, again both on the road in tough places to play.

Both teams are playing awesome football right now, but there's so much standing in the way of this happening that I don't think it seems likely.

Thanks to The Dynasty for the sig

just wanted to bring this back up. i just wanted to prove how dumb of a thread was haha. a whole thread for a super bowl matchup after the first round of the playoffs? neither team is even playing their conference championship.
