do we count all these positions? I'd think that we can put Guards and Centers together and also the WR's and TE's? Will we have a FB vote? Or create a FB/TE vote?

do we do coaches? If so where?
We'll do DE, DT, OLB, ILB, CB, S then OT, Int. OL, TE, WR, RB, QB for the order. No FB. Traditional FBs in the split back set (Brown, Csonka, Riggins) will be counted as RBs. We'll wrap it up with Head Coach.

it's a position like any other, so it's at least a valid question to ask. really this acidic response of yours is completely useless. But don't let me keep you off teabagging Jim Brown.

I'd say we need to keep QB as the finale, the Head Coach vote would turn into the pro bowl otherwise. Why not do the coaches as we transition from defense to offense, so between Safety and OT in your list?

I'm going to do a seperate thread for each position to keep it more manageable. When each position is done with voting, I'lll update this thread with the final rankings for that position.

Also, try to give an explanation as to WHY you voted for a certain guy. Even if it's just some stats or Pro Bowl selections. Don't just throw a name out there.

A very difficult catagory to start I had to choose between white smith and jones. The reason I choose white is because of his versitility.

I was reminded of this thread after watching NFLN's Top 100. Lately on here there's been a fair amount of talk in where modern players fit in a historical perspective and where old timers fit in a modern perspective. It got me wondering if there was a chance this project could still have legs if we started it up again. I felt it was really interesting and informative when we did the DE list.

YFS, I don't know if you're still willing to or have the time to take charge of this. But if you could, that would be awesome.

So SWDC, would there still be interest from you guys in starting this up again?

"Interior OL"? Really?? A scouting website that refuses to differentiate between guards and centers... A scouting website that can't rank the Top 10 best guards and centers separately? Seriously?!
