On the flip side, what if he gets hurt while he is on his one year deal? He could of had a long term contract to fall back on.

He is getting good money but it is still a huge risk for him.

It's not like he has much of a choice. And for his production his salary seems pretty high.

Good move for the chargers. The are Superbowl contenders, its unknown how many more years they will be. It would be very difficult to win if they don't have something at running back.

I fully expect the chargers to spend a high pick on a back. Its unknown how that back will perform, even if he does great rookie backs aren't able to handle a big load in their rookie years.

He's a nice player to have but he is definitely overpaid. Its definitely time for the Chargers to spend one of their early picks on a back.

I agree. The two biggest problems the skins had last year were a lack of Darren and a lack of Sproles.

Also their fanbase seems to be completely clueless.

In 2 years he is set for life. Anything he gets over and above that is just pure gravy. I see your point, but in 2 years of spot duty he has earned about as much as any back in the league. He is basically getting paid like he is the best back in the league and taking the pounding of a 3rd stringer.

Props to BK on the sig!
